Dealing with hormonal imbalance at 40, especially when signs like jawline pimples and tummy troubles appear, can be really frustrating. Here’s a holistic approach grounded in Ayurveda that you might find helpful.

Your symptoms suggest potential imbalances in the Kapha and Pitta doshas. Acne around the jawline is often hormonal, while chin hair could relate to androgens. The key lies in balancing these doshas along with cleansing the system.

Start with daily routines: Wake up early, around sunrise, and sip warm water to kickstart digestion and flush toxins. Keep a regular meal schedule to support consistent Agni (digestive fire). Consider light meals in the evening—avoid heavy, greasy, or processed foods as they aggravate Kapha and Pitta.

For diet, emphasize fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, legumes, and seeds. Favor cooling foods like cucumbers and leafy greens, while minimizing spicy, oily, and acidic items. Add turmeric and cumin to your meals—they help in cleansing the tissues and maintaining hormonal balance.

Focus on gut health: Include a cup of room-temperature buttermilk with a pinch of rock salt or cumin after lunch. It supports digestion and calms Pitta. Use Triphala—an Ayurvedic herbal blend—before bedtime, it might help in detoxifying your body and regulating bowel movements.

Herb-wise, Shatavari can be beneficial in balancing hormones naturally. Consume ½ teaspoon mixed in warm milk once a day. Address stress via meditation or yoga as stress can exacerbate hormonal issues.

Skin-sensitive to aloe vera? Try neem-based products for topical application—known for their antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Check if a patch test suits your skin first.

Don’t discard serious hormonal imbalance possibilities; consult a professional to evaluate further. Consistent medical guidance should align with any Ayurvedic practice you adopt, ensuring safety and efficacy.

At age 40, the hormonal imbalance symptoms you’re experiencing such as pimples, upset stomach, hair growth on chin are linked often to an aggravated pitta dosha. Addressing the root cause involves balancing this dosha and supporting digestive health.

First, observing a pitta-pacifying diet can help. Avoid excessively spicy, oily, and fried foods. Focus on cooling and calming foods like cucumbers, melons, leafy greens, and sweet, ripe fruits. Regular small meals can stabilize digestion and maintain a healthy agni. Be sure to hydrate sufficiently, avoiding caffeine-heavy drinks.

Incorporating herbs like Shatavari and Ashwagandha may help restore balance. They’re known for their adaptogenic properties, which support hormonal equilibrium. You can take 1 tsp of Shatavari powder with warm milk at night. Ashwagandha can be taken in similar manner, 1/2 tsp, added to warm water or milk during the day.

Additionally, promoting healthy skin involves topical care with gentle, suitable ingredients. Since Aloe Vera isn’t suitable for you, try making a paste of turmeric and sandalwood powder mixed with a few drops of rose water, applying gently to the affected areas and rinsing after 15 mins.

For toxin removal and better digestion, Triphala can be beneficial. Take 1 tsp of Triphala powder with warm water before bedtime. This helps in bowel regulation and detoxifying the body.

Regular physical activity, like yoga, not overstimulating, supports dosha balance and stress reduction. Pranayama practices like Sheetali or Sheetkari breathing could help in pacifying pitta.

If symptoms persist or worsen, It would be wise consulting with a healthcare provider to explore any underlying conditions. Hormonal tests can clarify further in persistent cases. It is crucial to manage these issues comprehensively and with patience.
