It seems like you’re dealing with recurring keloids, which are overgrown scars that arise after skin wounds have healed. Keloids can return despite treatments like surgery or steroid injections if the underlying factors contributing to them aren’t addressed. Your current symptoms, such as ear pain and headaches, could be related to inflammation or nerve irritation around the ear area.

Firstly, from an Ayurvedic perspective, keloids can be linked to an imbalance in Pitta dosha, which governs heat, metabolism, and inflammation in the body. It could be possible that your Pitta, along with an aggravated Kapha, is contributing to excessive scar tissue formation. Here are some steps you might consider exploring:

1. Dietary Adjustments: Incorporate Pitta-pacifying foods that help cool and balance your system. Opt for cooling fruits and veggies like cucumber, coriander, and berries. Avoid spicy, fried, and processed foods as much as possible, as they can elevate Pitta.

2. Herbal Supports: Applying Triphala paste gently on the affected area could aid in reducing inflammation and promoting healing. Use this cautiously, ensuring the skin doesn’t react with irritation. You could also consider Neem oil for its anti-inflammatory properties.

3. Lifestyle Modifications: Minimize exposure to direct sunlight as it can aggravate Pitta. Manage stress through calming activities like deep breathing, yoga, or meditation, which help maintain dosha balance.

4. Medical Attention: Given your low Hb and Vitamin D levels, it’s crucial to address these deficiencies, as proper nutrition supports the body’s natural healing. Consult with a healthcare provider for appropriate supplements or treatments to rectify these levels.

5. Immediate Care: Given the presence of pain and potential infection, it’s important to consult with your healthcare provider urgently. There could be underlying issues, like infection or inflammation needing immediate medical intervention.

Regular check-ins with both an Ayurvedic practitioner and your healthcare provider will support your journey to recovery, combining holistic and modern treatments.

Keloids occur due to an overgrowth of scar tissue, and in your case, repeated occurrences might be related to your body’s healing response. Your ear pain and headache could be related to this, but it’s crucial to rule out any potential infections or other issues. With such recurring problems, it’s important to also address any underlying imbalances, particularly those related to the doshas in your body.

The keloid formation can be associated with imbalances in vata and kapha, as they govern tissue growth and the inflammatory responses. Meanwhile, low hemoglobin (Hb) and Vitamin D3 levels point to potential underlying deficiencies that could affect your body’s healing and immune responses.

For immediate relief of the inflammation: consider an application of fresh turmeric paste, known for its natural anti-inflammatory properties, mixed with a pinch of sandalwood powder directly on the keloid. Do this twice daily with clean hands. Additionally, incorporating foods that enhance your agni, such as ginger and ajwain (carom seeds), can help to improve your overall digestion and enhance nutrient absorption.

Ensuring good dietary sources of iron and Vitamin D is essential. Leafy greens, legumes, and pumpkin seeds can help improve iron levels. Safe sun exposure and foods like fortified cereals, oily fish, and eggs can assist in boosting Vitamin D. Since this condition has already recurred, it’s important to consult a healthcare professional to evaluate your symptoms’ urgency. If your headache or ear pain intensifies or you notice signs of infection, seek immediate medical attention. Balancing treatments with medical opinion here ensures safety and addresses the root cause effectively.
