For xanthelasma, an Ayurvedic approach can potentially help manage and reduce the condition, although it may not completely remove it due to its nature. Xanthelasma often indicates cholesterol imbalances, which involve the Kapha dosha in Ayurveda. To address this, we’ll focus on balancing your doshas and improving your overall lipid metabolism.

First, consider incorporating Triphala, a well-known Ayurvedic formulation used for detoxifying the body and improving digestion. You may take 1 teaspoon of Triphala powder with warm water every night before bed. This can help balance your digestive fire or Agni, vital for reducing cholesterol build-up.

Next, review your diet. Aim for a diet that reduces Kapha. Avoid fatty, oily, and excessively salty foods. Increase intake of leafy greens, lentils, and whole grains. Use spices like cumin, ginger, or turmeric in your food, as these enhance metabolism.

Alongside, regular physical activity is crucial. Try to engage in brisk walking, yoga, or any other aerobic exercise that fits your lifestyle, for at least 30 minutes a day. This aids circulation and digestion, essential aspects of decreasing Kapha.

Rubbing castor oil on the affected areas can be beneficial. Apply a few drops to the xanthelasma patches before bedtime. Massaging this gently may support in softening and reducing the appearance over time.

Lastly, mind stress levels through relaxation techniques such as Pranayama or meditation. These practices holistically influence body metabolism and may prevent further occurrence.

Monitor changes and consult an Ayurvedic practitioner to personalize these recommendations further based on your constitution and lifestyle. If the condition worsens or remains unresolved, consult with a healthcare provider as advanced cases might need medical treatment.
