I am super frustrated because I’ve been dealing with hair thinning for like the past year and I’m really wanting to learn how to use sesame oil for hair growth. My scalp tends to be dry, and I’ve tried a few different shampoos and conditioners but they don’t seem to help much. Last week, I decided to give sesame oil a go and massaged some into my scalp before bed. I woke up and noticed my hair felt slightly greasy but kinda soft too? I’ve also read that I should warm the oil a bit before using it—does that really make a difference? Also, should I leave it on for a long time or rinse it out shortly after? Another worry is what if I have an adverse reaction? I have sensitive skin, and I’m not sure if it’ll irritate my scalp.
