To enhance iron intake and boost energy naturally, consider Amalaki (Indian Gooseberry) known for its vitamin C content, helping iron absorption. Including a spoon of Chyawanprash daily supports your overall health and immunity, helping you manage your busy life more efficiently. Fresh, seasonal fruits such as pomegranate can naturally increase iron, especially when consumed on an empty stomach. Prioritize leafy greens like spinach, which are rich in iron.

Digestive fire or agni plays a key role in detoxification. Sip warm water through the day with a pinch of ginger or cumin seeds to aid digestion and metabolism. Trikatu, a traditional blend of ginger, black pepper, and long pepper, effectively stimulates digestion and helps detoxify. If possible, practice 10 minutes of pranayama or deep breathing in the morning to energize your mind.

Balancing Vata dosha — often heightened in busy lifestyles — helps with concentration and learning. Ashwagandha has calming effects, helping support cognitive functions. Add it as a powder in your milk before bed. Brahmi, too, is excellent for enhancing memory and concentration. Consider Brahmi tea or supplements after consulting a practitioner, as they can offer guidance specific to your needs.

An easy relaxation practice is to take a few minutes lying down, cool your body with coconut oil on the scalp or feet calm vata. Ayurveda recommends oil massages (Abhyanga) weekly or as time allows to rejuvenate energies. Even a quick self-massage with warm sesame oil after a shower can relieve stress and fatigue from the body.

Incorporate grounding, hearty meals like stews or soups, which don’t require much effort yet provide nutrition and energy boost. Avoid excessive caffeine, which aggravates vata and depletes energy over long periods. Getting into an early bedtime routine can be challenging, but try to maintain a consistent wake-up and sleep schedule to rebuild your energy reserves.
