Doctors' responses

For addressing hormonal imbalance and its related concerns, we must focus on balancing your doshas, particularly Vata and Pitta, while also considering Kapha due to the weight and body fat issues. The dullness of skin and hair thinning indicate a need for rejuvenation and nourishment of dhatus, particularly Rasa and Rakta, which are connected to nutrition and blood.

Diet-wise, switch to a Sattvic diet that calms Vata and Pitta. This means consuming fresh, warm, well-cooked meals with ghee, cumin, coriander, and turmeric. Avoid processed foods, caffeine, excess salt, and spicy foods, as they aggravate Pitta and increase stress on the body.

Incorporate regular meals with sufficient proteins and healthy fats to stabilize your physical and neuroendocrine systems. Include milk, almonds, seeds, dark leafy greens, and legumes in your diet. Balanced diet aids in promoting regularity and healthy weight management.

Yoga and Pranayama must be daily practices, especially focusing on poses like Shavasana, Balasana, and Nadi Shodhana to reduce stress and calm the mind. Twenty to thirty minutes of moderate physical activity can boost circulation, alleviate hypertension, and enhance overall well-being.

For your hypertension, Arjuna bark and a decoction of Ashwagandha can be beneficial in managing blood pressure and improving heart health. Be sure to consult a healthcare provider about these herbal supplementation options to avoid possible interactions with medications.

Hair and skin health can be enhanced through weekly application of Brahmi or Amla oil on the scalp. These herbs support hair strength and shine while creating calming effects that counter stress. For dull skin, try applying a paste of sandalwood and rosewater a few times per week after consulting with an Ayurvedic physician for skin compatibility.

Fertility concerns often require a comprehensive approach inclusive of lifestyle management and Panchakarma if necessary. Regular detoxification and Ojas-enhancing Rasayanas like Shatavari are beneficial — but only after tailored advice from a professional.

Due to the long-standing history of your blood pressure fluctuations, consulting a medical practitioner should be prioritized to monitor your condition adequately. Without intervention, high blood pressure could lead to more severe outcomes, so don’t delay professional help. Aim for a holistic approach in harmony with both modern medical support and Ayurvedic wisdom.
