I am super confused and a bit worried about my irregular periods. It's been over a month since my last one, and I just don't know what are the reasons for period delay. I normally have a pretty regular cycle, about 28 days, and when I went to the doctor for some other stuff, they mentioned stress could be a factor. I mean, yeah, work's been crazy lately with deadlines piling up, but I didn't think that would be enough to delay my period? Also, I started a new diet around the same time, cutting down on carbs and sugar since, well, summer's coming and I want to feel good. But I wonder if that could mess things up too. I have felt some weird cramping lately—like it's almost here! But then nothing. Sometimes I think maybe I’m just overthinking it, you know? Are there really that many reasons for period delay? Could it literally just be my lifestyle changes or am I missing something bigger? I mean, I didn't even think about things like exercise or even that time of the month when I was sick with a cold last month! Ugh, this has totally got me all mixed up. Help?
