How can I gain weight with hypothyroidism and digestive issues? - #39696

i have hyporthyroidism. but i am underweight. i have acidity and bloating and cholestrol is in border level. I want to gain weight. what type of food i should eat to gain weight. can u suggest any lehyam or home remedies

3. Lehyam & Home Remedies: Ashwagandha lehyam can be helpful; it strengthens the body and supports weight gain. Take 1 teaspoon with warm milk once a day. Triphala churna before bed aids digestion; start with 1⁄2 teaspoon mixed in warm water. Ensure warm water, not cold, to maintain digestive balance.

4. Lifestyle: Regular, light exercises like walking or yoga helps manage your Vata and improve metabolism. Pranayama, specifically bhramari or alternate nostril breathing, can be soothing.

5. Herbal Teas: Consider sipping on ginger or fennel tea between meals to reduce bloating and enhance digestion. They support agni without exacerbating acidity.
