It sounds like your daughter is experiencing irregular periods coupled with enlarged ovaries, which may point to an underlying hormonal imbalance or condition such as Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). Ayurveda offers various approaches to address such imbalances, focusing on balancing doshas and improving overall reproductive health.

Firstly, identify the doshic imbalance. In this case, it’s often a kapha imbalance which may cause cysts or enlargement. To balance kapha, reduce intake of Kapha-aggravating foods like dairy, wheat, and sugars. Instead, encourage a diet rich in warm, light meals with spices such as ginger and turmeric which support digestion and metabolism.

Including specific herbs like Ashoka (Saraca indica) can help regulate menstrual cycles. Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus) is also beneficial due to its adaptogenic and nourishing properties for female reproductive health. These can be consumed as decoctions or in powdered form, but it’s vital to consult an Ayurvedic practitioner for dosage tailored to her constitution.

Encouraging a regular routine with adequate sleep and moderate exercise, such as yoga and pranayama, can help manage stress, improve circulation, and balance hormones. Practicing Surya Namaskar and specific asanas like Baddha Konasana and Supta Baddha Konasana promote reproductive health.

Administering a liver cleanse might help, as an imbalanced liver can disrupt hormones. Herbs like Triphala and Neem can be useful here. Introducing these under supervision ensures safety and efficacy.

Monitor her stress levels closely as stress can exacerbate hormonal imbalances. Mindful breathing, meditation, and guided relaxation could support her mental health.

Make sure to connect with a healthcare provider to closely monitor her condition and ensure her symptoms don’t require more immediate medical intervention. Regular check-ups are important during this stage of development.

Tailoring these recommendations to her pace and comfort can nurture a harmonious balance, facilitating her body’s natural healing processes.
