Dealing with recurrent vaginal fungal infections can be quite challenging. What you’re experiencing is a reflection of an internal imbalance, likely influenced by diet, lifestyle, and immune health. In Ayurveda, this condition can be seen as an imbalance in the Kapha and Pitta doshas. Here are some personalized strategies to consider:

Dietary Adjustments: Minimize the intake of sugar, refined carbohydrates, and yeast-containing foods, as these can fuel Candida overgrowth. Emphasize fresh vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins. Incorporate anti-fungal spices like turmeric, ginger, and cumin in your meals, which aid digestion and balance doshas.

Lifestyle and Hygiene: Ensure the genital area remains dry and clean. Wear breathable, cotton underwear and avoid synthetic fabrics. After washing, ensure complete drying, perhaps using a soft, clean towel. Regularly practice yoga or brisk walking to enhance circulation and boost immunity.

Probiotics and Digestive Health: While you’ve started (using probiotics, consider including them in your diet naturally through fermented foods like yogurt and kefir. Simultaneously, pay attention to your digestion - ensure meals are freshly prepared and eat at regular intervals to maintain a stable agni (digestive fire).

Ayurvedic Herbs: Employ herbs like Neem and Amla, known for their anti-fungal properties. Triphala, taken as a powdered mixture mixed with warm water at night, can detoxify the body gently and balance internal processes.

Consultation and Panchakarma: For a more intensive approach, consider seeing an Ayurvedic practitioner for personalized Panchakarma detoxification treatments. This can help cleanse your system of accumulated toxins which may be contributing to the infection.

Consistency is key, and results will require some time and patience. If symptoms persist or worsen, please consult a health professional promptly.

Addressing recurrent vaginal fungal infections requires an approach that targets the root causes, balances the body, and addresses lifestyle factors contributing to the condition. In Siddha-Ayurveda, such infections often relate to an imbalance in the kapha dosha, possibly compounded by pitta aggravation, leading to excess dampness and heat, especially in the lower regions of the body.

First, dietary adjustments can help immensely. Reduce intake of sugar and refined carbohydrates, as they can feed candida overgrowth. Increase bitter and astringent foods like bitter gourd, neem, and turmeric - these can help balance kapha and cleanse the system. Try warming spices such as ginger and black pepper to stimulate agni, improving digestion.

Consider including a decoction or infusion of fenugreek or tulsi (holy basil) in your daily routine. Both have anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties that can help in restoring balance.

Hydration is crucial, but avoid cold or iced beverages that can dampen digestive fire; prefer warm water with a squeeze of lemon. Pay attention to clothing: opt for breathable cotton underwear and avoid tight-fitting clothes that trap moisture.

Yoga and pranayama, like nadi shodhana (alternate nostril breathing), help reduce stress and balance nadis, which can support overall healing.

Given your history with medications, it’s imperative to have follow-ups with your healthcare provider to avoid any escalation of the infection. Exploring these Ayurvedic measures concurrently might offer more sustainable relief. A practitioner experienced in individualized Doshic assessment could provide more tailored recommendations based on your prakriti.
