Uterine fibroids can be a complex issue, especially when considering fertility. In Ayurveda, fibroids are often related to Kapha dosha imbalance, where excess Kapha can lead to the growth of unwanted tissue. Though you’re in perimenopause, herbs and lifestyle adjustments can still support your health journey.

First, focus on enhancing your agni, the digestive fire, as optimal digestion supports overall health. Begin your day with warm water and ginger tea to stimulate digestion. Include spices like turmeric, cumin, and coriander in meals to balance Kapha. Eating warm, light and freshly cooked meals help too.

Yoga and pranayama can be beneficial. Try incorporating gentle, regular exercise such as walking or light yoga poses in you daily routine – these can help to regulate Kapha and promote circulation.

Herbs like Ashoka and Triphala may be supportive due to their properties in balancing the doshas and supporting reproductive health. However, you should consult with an Ayurvedic practicioner before starting any herbal treatment, especially given your unique status.

While IVF is a modern medical technique outside the scope of Ayuveda, it is important to consult with both Ayurvedic and allopathic doctors to ensure a holistic overview of your condition. Please understand that fibroids should be monitored regularly with medical professionals to address any risks.

Finally, stress management through meditation or mindfulness practices can play an important role in promoting hormonal balance and overall wellbeing.

It’s crucial to re-evaluate these practices regularly in consultation with your healthcare providers to monitor development and modifications based on any changes.
