is kesh kanti oil good for hair - #42085
I am struggling with my hair lately, and I really don’t know what to do about it. The thing is, my hair used to be thick and shiny, but after a few months of stressful work and what feels like an endless cycle of bad weather, it has become so dull and brittle. My friend mentioned this Kesh Kanti oil, and I keep hearing people talk about it, but is kesh kanti oil good for hair? I mean, I’m curious, but also a bit skeptical. Then again, I’ve tried tons of products before that promised the moon and never delivered! I’m avoiding any harsh chemicals right now, especially with all these hair fall issues – it’s like every time I brush, I literally see strands coming out. Not to mention, I want something actually natural that will help my hair regain its life – my scalp feels so dry too! Ugh. So, is kesh kanti oil good for hair? Will it actually nourish it or help with moisture? Would I need to use it daily, or does it work better if I just do it a couple of times a week? I’m also worried about how it might smell or if it will even make a noticeable difference. Can anyone share their experiences or tips? Thanks!

Kesh Kanti oil can be beneficial for hair, particularly if you are dealing with dryness, brittleness, and hairfall issues. In Ayurvedic principles, hair is often influenced by the balance of the body’s doshas, and stress can exacerbate Vata imbalance, leading to dry and brittle hair. Kesh Kanti oil, which often contains a blend of natural herbs like Bhringraj, Brahmi, and Amla, is designed to nourish the scalp and hair shafts, promoting health and vitality.
This oil can help increase moisture and reduce scalp dryness due to its natural ingredients which have hair-friendly properties. Bhringraj, for example, is famous in Ayurveda for reducing hair fall and sustaining hair growth. Amla, rich in Vitamin C, acts as a powerful antioxidant that may help improve scalp health and add natural shine.
For usage, consider applying the oil two to three times a week. Warm the oil slightly before application, as warm oil can penetrate the hair shafts more effectively. A gentle scalp massage in circular motion is beneficial to enhance blood circulation, which can nourish your hair roots. Allow the oil to sit for at least 1-2 hours—or overnight if possible—before washing it out. Regular use can potentially deliver noticeable improvements over time, but consistency is key here.
In terms of scent, natural oils can have a distinctive smell, but many find it to be soothing and even relaxing. If this initially bothers you, the scent may dissipate after washing; though if overly strong, you might mix with a few drops of an essential oil like lavender to slightly modify aroma.
While the oil can help with hair health, ensure a holistic approach by incorporating stress-reducing practices like yoga or meditation into your routine, which can address stress-related hair concerns at their roots. And remember, individual hair types can react differently, so small patch testing is always a safe first step.
