🧪 How to Know If You’re in Diabetes Remission You may be in remission if: - Fasting glucose is consistently <100 mg/dL - HbA1c is <5.7% for 6+ months without medication - No symptoms like fatigue, frequent urination, or sugar cravings - You feel dizzy after consuming sugar-lowering herbs — a sign of possible hypoglycemia
Take karela juice drink nd use nishamalki 1tab bd enough
Dr RC BAMS MS
Hello I understand your concern, but please don’t worry, we are here to help you out 😊
You’ve asked two important questions: – Which drink is the best for diabetes? – Does feeling low sugar after herbal juices mean your diabetes is cured?
✅BEST DRINK FOR DIABETES
👉Methi (Fenugreek) Water Take 1 tsp methi and soak it overnight In the morning, drink the water - Slows sugar absorption - Improves insulin sensitivity
👉Amla + Aloe Vera Juice 10–15 ml each -Repairs pancreas beta cells -Reduces the inflammation
👉Cinnamon Water ½ tsp cinnamon is boiled in 2 cups water - Helps control fasting sugar - Improves metabolism
❌ Avoid These Drinks Bitter gourd juice daily (too strong causes hypoglycemia) Large amounts of vegetable juices An excessive amount of Aloe vera Any multiple-herb combinations without guidance
Too many herbs at once = sudden sugar drops, which is what you’re experiencing now.
✅DOES LOW SUGAR AFTER HERBAL DRINK MEAN DIABETES IS GONE? Truth be told: NO. Feeling low sugar does not mean diabetes is cured.
It only indicates: That you are using more powerful herbs than your body needs at the moment. This results in hypoglycemia (low sugar), which causes: Dizziness Weakness Sweating Hunger Shaking
This happens because: - Your sugar is improving ❌ But not enough to say diabetes is gone.
✅How to Know If You Are Actually Recovering From Diabetes
You are only getting better if: – Fasting Sugar is 80–99 mg/dl (without herbs) – PP Sugar is 120–140 mg/dl (without herbs) – HbA1c is below 5.7 for at least 6 months – You are not getting sugar spikes –You can maintain normal sugar even without juices/herbs
The most important test: 👉 You discontinue taking herbs for 7 days and check fasting + PP + HbA1c.
If levels stay normal = improvement is real. If sugars rise again = diabetes is not gone.
✅Why You Feel Low Now?
Herbs + vegetable juices = reduce sugar Your diet has changed Your pancreas is working better than before So when you drink the same strong juices now,
👉 your sugar falls lower than normal. This is a sign of improvement but NOT complete recovery.
✅ What You Should Do Now 👉 STOP strong juices for 7 days Especially: Bitter gourd Neem Jamun seed powder Multi-mix vegetable juices
👉 Switch to gentle drinks Methi water Amla water (5 ml diluted)
👉 Eat small frequent meals Low sugar becomes worse when you eat late.
👉 Test sugars properly Fasting Post-meal HbA1c Check after stopping herbs for 7 days
I hope I have cleared all your doubts Wishing you good health😊
Warm Regards Dr Snehal Vidhate
AMLAKI JUICE KARLA JUCIE IS BEST
Best Drink for Diabetes is Bitter gourd (karela) + Amla juice – 20 ml karela + 20 ml amla + 100 ml water → morning empty stomach. Nothing beats this combination for long-term control and reversal.
Other safe daily drinks Jamun seed powder water (soak overnight) Methi water (1 tsp seeds soaked overnight) Cinnamon + dalchini water Plain jeera water
If earlier these juices used to keep sugar normal and now the same dose is causing dizziness/hypoglycaemia, it means your pancreas has started working again and you are now non-diabetic or in remission.
Confirm Recovery in 3 Steps Stop all herbs/juices for 7–10 days Eat normal diet (include rice/roti/sweets in moderation) Check: Fasting < 100 mg/dl PP < 140 mg/dl HbA1c < 5.7 %
If all three are normal without any medicine/herbs → you are officially cured/reversed.
What to do now Reduce or stop strong bitter juices (karela/amla) Switch to mild drinks: jeera water, coriander seed water, lauki juice Monitor sugar 2–3 times weekly Celebrate – but never go back to old high-carb + sedentary life!

In Ayurveda, there are so many herbs for diabetes. One needs not take so many herbs and vegetables juices for diabetes. Take Karela jamun juice 15 ml twice daily before food with 30ml Water. Soak overnight methi seeds 1tsp in a cup of water morning strain and drink water and also can chew seeds or put in any dal or curry vegetables. Check your blood sugar at home with haemoglucometer., once in 15 days get it checked at pathology laboratory. If FBS remain = or less100, & PPBS 120 lesser then shows normal range. Do pranamyam lom -vilom kapalbhatti bhastrika daily for 5-10mins twice daily, will be beneficial. Do Brisk walking atleast 30 mins daily. Avoid wheat and white rice, instead take millet, and boiled rice.
HELLO,
Diabetes does not typically disappear suddenly, even if blood suddenly even if blood sugars improve. what you’re experiencing may be -better glucose sensitivity (your body responds more strongly to herbs/juices now) -hypoglycemia from over lowering blood sugar -changes in diet or medications that cause drops -natural variation in blood glucose
EVIDENCE BASED BEST DRINKS FOR DIABETES Here are drinks that help stabilize blood sugar without causing spikes
1) Water -keeps blood glucose stable -supports kidney function
2) Unsweetnened herbal teas -Green tea, ginger tea, cinnamon tea =may improve insulin sensitivity
3) KARELA (BITTER GOURD) JUICE- WITH CAUTION -potent glucose lowering effect =can cause hypoglycaemia if taken in excess
4) AMLA WATER -rich in vitamin c =helps regulate lipid and glucose metabolism
5) FENUGREEK WATER -1 tsp soaked overight =improves slow, steady glucose control
AYURVEDIC RECOMMENDATIOS
Ayurveda views diabetes as madhumeha involving impaired digestion, kapha imbalance, and poor tissue metabolism
1) METHI SEED WATER -soak 1 tsp seeds overnight -drink the water on empty stomach =balances kapha, reduces blood glucose gradually
2) NEEM AND AMLA DECOCTION -very effective for reducing high sugar =but this can cause hypoglycaemia when sugars improve
3) GUDUCHI TEA -supports liver + pancreas =improves glucose processing
4) JAMUN SEED POWDER DRINK -1 tsp mixed with warm water =stabilizes blood sugar through the day
WHY YOU’RE FEELING BLOOD SUGAR DROPPING NOW Your body may be responding differently compared to months ago
Possible causes
1) Your baseline sugar levels have improved -herbs + vegetable juices that once normalized your blood sugar -maynow be lowering it too much
2) You may be experiencing true hypoglycaemia symptoms can be= dizziness, shakiness, sweating, rapid heartbeat, feeling faint
3) You’re possibly consuming strong hypoglycaemia herbs like= bittergourd, neem, amla, jamun seed these can push sugar too low
4) Dietary or lifestyle changes -even minor changes can alter insulin sensitivity
DOES THOS MEAN YOUR DIABETES IS OVER? Not necessarily - feeling low sugar does not mean diabetes is cured
To confirm improvement or remission you need -fasting glucose -HbA1C -Post meal glucose level
WHAT COUNTS AS REMISSION? -HbA1C <6.5 for at least 3 months without medication -AND normal fasting/post meal sugars
herbs and drinks count as glucose lowering influences so you still need objective testing
WHAT YOU SHOULD DO RIGHT NOW
1)CHECK YOUR SUGAR DURING SYMPTOMS If dizziness= blood glucose below 90 mg/dL, your herbs are too strong
2) REDUCE THE STRENGTH OR FREQUENCY OF JUICES Especially= bitter gourd, neem ,jamun seed, amla =use then only 1-3 times/week until testing is done
3) MAINTAIN BALANCED MEALS Ayurveda suggest -warm lightly spiced foods -avoiding long fasting -small, frequent meals to avoid sugar dips
4) SCHEDULE A FASTING GLUCOSE + HbA1C test -this is the only wat to confirm improvement
According to Ayurveda, sudden dips may indicates -vata aggravation from excessive cleansing/juices -low vital energy -weak digestive fire due to over use of bitter herbs
AYURVEDIC STABILIZING MEASURES
1) Sip warm water with a pinch of dry ginger powder =balances vata and kapha -gently stabilizes energy
2) Add small amounts of healthy fats -1 tsp ghee in warm food =helps stabilize glucose absoprtion
3)Avoid over bitter combinations -too much bitter + astringent can. crash sugars
DO FOLLOW
HOPE THIS MIGHT BE HELPFUL
THANK YOU
DR. MAITRI ACHARYA
Drink karela + jamun + Alovera + Giloy + wheat grass juice - each 5 ml once daily with water Soak fenugreek seeds overnight n at morning chew it n den drink water Check your fbs / ppbs once in 15 days to know how your sugar levels
For managing diabetes with Ayurveda, focusing on herbal and natural remedies may be helpful. A well-known drink beneficial for maintaining blood sugar levels is a simple concoction of lukewarm water with half a teaspoon of fenugreek seeds soaked overnight. Consuming this on an empty stomach can aid in balancing your glucose levels. Another effective drink is an infusion made from amla (Indian gooseberry) juice with a pinch of turmeric added to it. Both amla and turmeric excell at maintaining insulin sensitivity and reducing oxidative stress.
Regarding recovery from diabetes, it’s crucial to understand that diabetes, especially type 2, can be managed and go into remission, but it may not be entirely “cured.” Continuous monitoring of blood sugar levels, proper diet, and regular physical activity are necessary. HbA1c tests, which reflect average blood glucose levels over three months, are a reliable measure to assess the control of your diabetes. An HbA1c level below 5.7% typically indicates normal glucose levels, but you should consult your healthcare provider for a more customized goal.
Feeling that your blood sugar is dropping could relate to improvements in insulin sensitivity or dietary reactions, but it doesn’t necessarily confirm recovery. Consistently maintaining a balanced diet rich in whole grains, fiber, and complex carbohydrates can promote stable glucose levels. If you’re experiencing frequent hypoglycemic symptoms, it’s advisable to re-evaluate your diet with a professional and adjust your herbal intake accordingly.
Remember, Ayurvedic treatments are complementary, and regular monitoring from a healthcare professional is essential for managing diabetes effectively and safely. If you’re on medication, ensure any Ayurvedic supplements you take do not interfere; consult with your physician to tailor the right approach.
