Menorrhagia, along with fibroids and anemia, can be challenging but it’s important to address these with a holistic approach. In Ayurveda, understanding your dosha imbalances is crucial. Firstly, it seems there might be an excess of Pitta, which can lead to heavy bleeding. I’d recommend looking into dietary and lifestyle changes to help balance your Pitta. Focus on cooling foods and herbs such as cilantro, coriander seeds, and amalaki, which can help support your system.

Fibroids in Ayurveda are often associated with Vata aggravation as well, which plays a role in irregular growths. Look into herbs like Ashoka and Shatavari, which traditionally, help in balancing the female reproductive system and reducing bleeding. Prepare a decoction of Ashoka bark by boiling 10 grams in water until reduced to half an then take it twice daily.

Since stress seems to exacerbate your bleeding, incorporating stress-reduction techniques like meditation or pranayama can be beneficial. Daily practice of Nadi Shodhana (Alternate Nostril Breathing) helps in calming the mind and balancing the body’s energies. Engaging in gentle, calming exercises like yoga might also help without aggravating symptoms.

For anemia, you will need iron-rich food sources. Include dates, raisins, and green leafy vegetables in your diet. Drinking pomegranate juice can be particularly beneficial. Keloids require separate attention as they represent a Kapha imbalance. A local application of turmeric paste might help in moderation, but keloids like fibroids can be slow to respond and might need ongoing care.

If the bleeding is severe or does not reduce, seeking urgent medical care is necessary. Professional intervention becomes essential in such cases to avoid excessive blood loss and complications. Your health and safety should always come first.
