Your symptoms could be related to a Vata imbalance, which is common during menopause. Vata governs movement and inbalance can lead to fatigue, disrupted sleep, and frequent urination. Also, hormonal changes post-menopause may exacerbate these symptoms.

Firstly, focus on your diet. Incorporate warm, nourishing foods that ground and stabilize Vata. Kitchari, which is a mix of rice and lentils, seasoned with Vata-pacifying spices like cumin, coriander, and ginger, can be very beneficial. Eating meals at regular times helps stabilize digestion and energy levels. Avoid raw foods and cold beverages as they can aggravate Vata. Warm herbal teas like ginger tea can support your digestion and provide comfort.

Sleep disturbances can be troublesome. Establishing a calming bedtime routine is helpful. An hour before bed, dim the lights and disconnect from electronic devices. You might enjoy drinking a cup of warm milk with a pinch of nutmeg, which has sleep-inducing properties. Consider also a daily Abhyanga (self-massage) using warm sesame oil; it’s calming and grounding for Vata.

Given your work routine involves travel, create moments of peace during your commute by listening to calming music or practicing deep, slow breathing. This can reduce Vata-aggravating stress and fatigue.

Since you mentioned frequent urination, be cautious about your fluid intake in the evenings. Physical activity like gentle yoga can enhance circulation and reduce stress. Particularly beneficial are poses like Supta Baddha Konasana and Viparita Karani, promoting relaxation and improving sleep quality.

However, it’s advisable to consult your healthcare provider to rule out any medical conditions affecting your bladder or hormones. Navigating menopausal changes can be challenging, and a comprehensive approach involving both Ayurvedic practices and professional healthcare guidance often yields the best results.
