Let the mixture sit for about 2 to 3 hours for the color to develop.

Before applying, ensure your hair is clean. You might want to wear gloves and apply a little oil or a protective cream around your hairline to avoid staining your skin. Apply the paste evenly to your hair, paying special attention to the areas with premature graying. Cover your hair with a shower cap and leave the mixture on for approximately 2 hours. After this time, rinse your hair thoroughly with water, and then condition, if necessary.

Do this treatment once a month. However, remember that consistency is key in herbal treatments, but sudden color change shouldn’t be expected. Ayurvedic remedies tend to work gradually and are aimed at targeting the roots of the problem rather than providing a quick fix. If the graying persists or worsens, it might be wise to consult an Ayurvedic practitioner to explore other possible underlying causes or remedies tailored specifically to your constitution.

Additionally, focus on a balanced diet, rich in essential nutrients such as B vitamins, zinc, iron, and copper. Stay hydrated and manage stress levels through practices like yoga pr meditation, as holistic well-being plays a significant role in hair health.
