Seeking Remedies for My Daughter's Pneumonia and Cough - #44092

Hello, my daughter (5yr old) is suffering from pneumonia, she had earlier history of recurrent cough & cold. For that issue we had visited patanjali Ayurveda OPD & she get fine in 2024. I have found on internet that Sawsari gold help in this ? Kindly suggest some remedies or medicine to speed up his recovery as she has lot of coughing. Kindlysuggest fruits also.

Sitopaladi Churna – 1 gm + equal honey → 4 times daily 2 Talisadi Churna – 500 mg + honey → 3–4 times daily 3 Swasari Gold OR Swasari Vati (Patanjali) – ½ tablet crushed + honey → morning & night 4 Laxmivilas Ras (Nardiya) – ¼ tablet twice daily with honey 5 Giloy Ghan Vati – ¼ tablet crushed → twice daily (boosts immunity, prevents recurrence)

Supportive Home Remedies (do all) 1. Steam with plain hot water OR 2 drops Tulsi oil → 5–7 min twice daily 2. Warm Tulsi + Ginger + Mulethi tea (½ cup) → 3–4 times daily 3. Chest & back warm Ksheerabala Taila massage → 5 min → cover with cotton cloth

Best Fruits & Foods (give daily) Pomegranate ½ daily Apple stewed (cooked with cinnamon) Pear Orange/Mosambi (only if no loose motion) Rice kanji + ghee Moong khichdi + ghee (only these two meals till fever goes)

Thank you sir for detail description 🙏 she had start fever from 16nov & subsided by 24nov… her x-ray report mentioned- Traingular opacity seen in right mid zone extending upto right hilum-? segmental collapse/consolidation. And in allopathy, she is taking clavam antibiotic in 12hrs 10ml, but no other medicine for cough… she had a issue of recurent cough & cold also, for which we had visited patanjali haridwar in 2024, where they have given 1 tablet sawasari gold open capsule with honey once daily + sanjeevani vati 1/2-1/2 , haridrakhand in milk

No milk for 21–30 days. After that only warm haldi-doodh (100 ml night) can be started. Almonds/Walnuts/Makhane can be started from today – 2 almonds + 1 walnut half + 5–6 roasted makhane daily morning. Start warm haldi-milk after 3 weeks only if no cough returns.

Ok Then you can give Swasari gold cap once daily with honey( open it as yu wer giving b4) Lakshmi vilasa ras half tablet with boiled n cooled turmeric milk twice daily after food Giloy tablet half tablet twice daily after food Avoid cold food exposure to AC oily n junk foods curd Gv warm soups Do not worry child will recover soon

Start with Yastimadhu churan 1/2tsp + sitopaladi churan 1/2tsp + Talisadi churan 1/2tsp mix with 2tsp honey and give twice daily before food with water . If this works continue, as this combination is safe and can be taken for long term Syrup Bresol 1tsp twice daily. Swasari gold capsule, can v be given but only for 1 month later to stop. Give warm Haldi doodh at bedtime. Avoid citrus fruits, fried foods. Food with Coloured food.

Ok thanks ma’am, can we give jaggery & makhane to her in this ?

1. Dashamoola katutraya kashaya with honey. 1/2 tsp powder boiled in 1 glass of water and given as divided doses mixed with honey. Powder form is better than kashaya form and make it to kashaya. If bottled kashaya is only available, then 2.5ml mix with 7.5 ml of water and give at morning and evening.

2. Vasarishta 2.5ml with 5 ml boiled water given after food twice a day.

3. Gopeechandanadi gulika 1/4 tab bd if fever is present.

Continue these medicines for 2 weeks then start Amrithaprasha 1/2 tsp at early morning

Whether it’s chronic skin issues, gut problems, stress burnout or hormone stuff—my goal is to get to the root, not just hush the symptoms. I use Panchakarma when needed, but also a lot of ahara-vihara tweaks, medhya herbs, sometimes just slowing ppl down a bit helps. I really believe Ayurveda’s power is in its simplicity when done right. I don’t try to fix ppl—I work *with* them. And honestly, every patient teaches me something back.

It’s not just about reducing pain during periods or balancing hormones—it’s more like trying to understand what’s causing the imbalances in the first place. I spend time trying to map the prakriti-vikriti profile and see how stress, food, daily habits are impacting the cycle. I don’t rush things, coz honestly healing isn't linear and doesn't follow some fixed timeline. And not everyone wants to jump into panchakarma straightaway either, right? Also pain management is a big part of my work. Whether it’s period cramps or pelvic pain, or even chronic stuff tied to digestion and fatigue, I look at how we can ease that naturally. Sometimes through simple things like castor oil packs, or subtle shifts in routine, other times I may recommend herbs or formulations. Yoga plays a huge role too, esp. when the body feels stuck or inflamed. Not gym-style yoga, more therapeutic.. breath n movement syncing with dosha correction, that kind of thing. To be honest, I’m still learning—Ayurveda’s depth is huge, and I feel like I’m just getting started. But what I do know is, when I see women begin to trust their own body’s rhythm again, that’s really powerful. Makes all the effort worth it. Even small relief matters. It's not perfect, sometimes things take longer, sometimes we need to adjust mid-way... but it's real.

The balance is not always easy, but it feels necessary. Currently, I am pursuing a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Max Society of Medical Academics Innovation and Research (MSMAIR), which adds a broader public health and evidence informed angle to my clinical thinking. I try to look beyond symptoms, focusing on long term prevention, lifestyle correction and patient awareness. Learning still feels ongoing, sometimes slow, but it keeps my practice grounded and real.
