The symptoms you’re experiencing may be related to a vata and possibly kapha imbalance, considering the lack of sleep, weight gain, mood swings, and other concerns. Ayurveda focuses on balancing your doshas to restore harmony in your body and mind.

First, let’s address your sleep issues. Create a calming nightly routine. Start by winding down at least an hour before bed, which might include activities like reading or gentle streching. Try to avoid electronics or any stimulating activities as they can aggravate vata’s restless nature. Drink a warm cup of Ashwagandha or Brahmi tea before bed; these herbs aid relaxation and can support sound sleep.

For weight management, especially around the stomach area, focus on your agni or digestive fire. Begin your day with a glass of warm water mixed with a pinch of lemon juice to stimulate digestion. Incorporate spices like cumin, ginger, and turmeric into your diet, as they can help balance kapha and bolster your metabolism. Eat your largest meal at lunch when digestion is strongest, and keep dinner light and warm.

Your hormonal imbalances, as evidenced by low periods, vaginal dryness, and mood swings, may be alleviated by nurturing ojas, the essence of vitality. Include foods rich in healthy fats, such as ghee, almonds, and seeds in your diet. Practice abhyanga, self-massage with warm sesame oil, which can be grounding and nourishing for vata.

Last, engaging in regular, moderate exercise such as brisk walking or yoga can promote circulation and energy balance, but, avoid overexerting yourself. Addressing your routine, and breaking patterns of inactivity like prolonged movie watching, might helps ease mood swings and headaches. Stay hydrated, and consider incorporating Breathing exercises- such as alternate nostrid breathing can soothe stress and settle the mind.

Always consider reaching out to a healthcare provider to discuss these symptoms further, especially if they persist.
