In cases of gynecomastia, addressing the underlying hormonal imbalance is indeed essential. Arogyavardhini Vati is often prescribed in Ayurveda because it can help in enhancing the digestive fire (agni) and assist in detoxifying the body. It also works on liver function which is vital in maintaining hormonal balance. However, its direct impact on gynecomastia may be limited.

In addition to this, you might consider incorporating herbal supplements like Shatavari which can help in stabilizing hormones. It supports the endocrine system and might assist in balancing hormonal imbalances. Take it in powder form, about half a teaspoon with warm water, daily. Also, Ashwagandha is often utilized for its adaptogenic properties and may help with alleviating stress, another factor that can lead to hormonal fluctuations. Consider taking it in capsule or churna form, once a day, preferebly at night.

Focus on your diet to naturally balance hormones. Include foods high in Omega-3 fatty acids such as flaxseeds and walnuts, which support hormonal balance. Reduce intake of processed foods, caffeine, and dairy products as they can sometimes worsen the condition by aggravating kapha dosha.

Lifestyle modifications are also suggested, given you work night shifts, which can disturb the natural circadian rhythm. Try to ensure adequate sleep, possibly adopting a regular sleep schedule on your days off to maintain balance. Incorporating light exercise like walking or yoga can also improve circulation and digestion.

Keep monitoring your condition, and if the inflammation persists, it’s important to follow up with your healthcare provider. This will ensure that there’s no underlying condition requiring additional medical intervention.

Arogyavardhini Vati is commonly prescribed in cases where there is a need to balance metabolism and address toxins in the body, which can help correct some aspects of hormonal imbalances. However, it’s important to consider that gynecomastia, or male breast enlargement, often arises from hormonal imbalances, particularly an increase in estrogen relative to testosterone. While this formulation can aid with liver function and detoxification, rebalancing hormones may require a more targeted approach.

For gynecomastia, addressing the underlying cause is crucial. Since your night shifts may be affecting your hormonal balance due to disrupted sleep cycles, try to optimize your sleep as much as possible. Regular, healthy sleep can have a profound effect on hormonal levels. Monitor your diet to ensure you’re not consuming foods high in phytoestrogens, which can exacerbate the condition. Include more cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, and cabbage, as they support estrogen metabolism.

As a supplementary herb, consider Ashwagandha, known for its adaptogenic qualities and its ability to naturally increase testosterone. Take 1-2 teaspoons of Ashwagandha churna with warm milk before bed. Also, Shilajit, a natural mineral pitch, may support energy levels and hormonal balance.

However, if the condition persists, there may be a need for a more comprehensive assessment to rule out any underlying health issues or endocrine disorders. It’s advisable to consult an endocrinologist if symptoms don’t improve, as addressing any specific hormone deficit might require more precise treatment. Keep in mind, safety is the utmost priority, especially if this condition is causing significant distress or physiological changes.
