Doctors' responses

When estrogen is very low (after stopping HRT), food alone cannot significantly raise estrogen, but it can gently support estrogen-like activity and help mood, sleep, and anxiety

Foods that support estrogen (mild, natural) Include daily Flaxseeds – 1 tablespoon ground (best natural phytoestrogen) Soy foods – tofu, soy milk, edamame (small–moderate amounts) Sesame seeds – 1 tablespoon Legumes – chickpeas, lentils Fruits – pomegranate, apples, berries Healthy fats – ghee, olive oil, nuts (hormones need fat) For mood, sleep & anxiety (very important) Warm milk at night (with a pinch of nutmeg or cardamom) Magnesium-rich foods – pumpkin seeds, leafy greens

Avoid excess caffeine, alcohol, late-night screens

Ashwagandha 1tab bd – helps anxiety & sleep (not estrogen, but balances stress) Shatavarighritam 1tsp– traditional herb that supports female hormones
