Both either Govt. Or private, efficiency of treatment lies in the hands of the treating doctors. In government, it will be low cost and emergency immediately can be taken care as there will be other departments. In private if doctor is efficient, then if money is not a problem then go ahead. In uttarbasti area sterilization is also very important. You will have to personally find out all these and take your decision, giving decisions online is not accurate.

Hlo,

1️⃣ Private vs Govt Hospital – Uttarbasti / Urethral Stricture me farq

🏥 Government Hospital Fayde Cost bahut kam Experienced doctors (zyada cases dekhte hain) Emergency backup achha Nuksan Bheed zyada → time & privacy kam

Ayurveda procedures (Uttarbasti) har jagah regularly available nahi Follow-up me delay ho sakta hai

🏥 Private Ayurveda Hospital/Clinic Fayde Personal attention Clean OT & scheduled sittings Uttarbasti jaise procedures properly planned Follow-up aur diet/lifestyle guidance better Nuksan Cost thodi zyada hoti hai Doctor ki qualification verify karni zaroori

👉 Uttarbasti ke liye generally achha setup private Ayurveda center me milta hai, lekin doctor experienced hona chahiye.

2️⃣ Aapke case me Uttarbasti ka role (Symptoms >6 months, multiple treatments) Aise chronic urethral stricture cases me: ✔ Sirf surgery ya dilation se baar-baar recurrence hota hai ✔ Ayurveda me Uttarbasti + oral medicines long-term support deti hain

3️⃣ Kya 2 mahine baad 2 supportive sittings le sakte hain? ✅ Haan, bilkul le sakte hain Standard approach: Pehla course: 5–7 Uttarbasti sittings (alternate days) Uske baad: 2 mahine gap 2 booster sittings → stricture hard hone se bachane ke liye

👉 Isse long-term narrowing ka risk kam hota hai, especially jab pain mild ho.

4️⃣ Uttarbasti me kaam kis cheez ka hota hai? 🔹 Oil / Medicine ka kaam Inflammation kam karta hai Fibrosis (scar tissue) ko soft karta hai Urine flow smooth karta hai Healing promote karta hai 🔹 Dilation tube ka kaam Sirf medicine ko sahi jagah pahunchane ka medium Permanent dilation tube nahi karti 👉 Main kaam medicine ka hota hai, tube sirf carrier hoti hai

5️⃣ Uttarbasti ke main benefits (Urethral Stricture me) ✔ Jalan kam hoti hai ✔ Urine stream better hoti hai ✔ Stricture ka hardpan soft hota hai ✔ Surgery/dilation ki frequency kam hoti hai ✔ Chronic cases me recurrence slow hota hai

6️⃣ Ayurveda Prescription

🌿 Internal Medicines

Chandraprabha Vati 👉 2 tablet, din me 2 baar, khane ke baad

Gokshuradi Guggulu 👉 2 tablet, din me 2 baar

Varunadi Kashayam 👉 15 ml + 30 ml garam pani, subah-shaam

🌿 Local / Procedure Uttarbasti oil options

Bala taila Kshar Taila (selected cases me) Sahacharadi Taila 📌 Frequency: Alternate day, sterile conditions me

7️⃣ Diet & Lifestyle (Bahut important) ❌ Zyada mirch, alcohol, smoking ❌ Kam pani peena ✅ 3–3.5 liter pani/day ✅ Coconut water ✅ Avoid holding urine ✅ Light stretching & walking

🔴 Important Note Agar: Urine bilkul rukne lage Zyada pain ya blood aaye Fever ke sath burning ho 👉 Turant urologist ko dikhana zaroori hai

But mam 3months phle 7 sittings li ayurvedic doctor se rohtak haryana athrav ayurveda me li thi uttarbasti ki.

Pr ab kuch din phle pesab me crystal aa rahe 2 din aye jisse pesab ruk Raha vo nikal usi time jyada pani pine se ab aj 10 din baad se phir uttarbasti se phle problem thi vese hi hone lagi aj Mam mane 2024 ek oiu bhi Kara chuka tab multiple stricture the Ab uttarbasti lene ke phle mane rgu mcu karvay tb 1 stricture tha Uttarbasti ki 7 sittings ke 1 month phir se report kri tb usme stricture toh tha pr passage soomth tha or pesab ache aa rha tha long time ek baithne se flow kuch time k liye weak ho jata pr kl se problem thik nahi hui h
Or mai yeh jana chat hu ki yeh uttarbasti acha urothroplasty .

Agr 2 mahine me gap 2sttings uttarbasti leta raha hu toh long time tk dikkat toh nhi hogi na

Jaipur Jodhpur jesi jgah pr govt ayurvedia ke hospital me uttarbasti lene ke liye kitna waiting time hota lagbag jb phli bar visit kro tb normally

Uttarbasti aapko rahat de sakti hai, waqt khareed sakti hai, par final solution urethroplasty hi hai.

1️⃣ Abhi jo problem ho rahi hai (crystals, flow weak, pehle jaisa lagna) 🔹 Crystal aana + urine rukna Ye metabolic + dehydration related hota hai - Jab pani kam hota hai ya urine concentrated hota hai → crystals chipak ke already narrow urethra ko temporarily block kar dete hain Isliye zyada pani peene se turant nikal gaye 👉 Iska matlab naya stricture turant nahi bana, balki existing stricture + irritation hui hai

2️⃣ Uttarbasti ke baad report ka matlab (bahut important point) Aapki reports se ye clear hai: ❌ Stricture completely gayab nahi hua ✅ Passage smooth hua ✅ Flow improve hua ✅ Hard fibrosis soft hui 👉 Uttarbasti ka kaam yehi hota hai ❌ Ye anatomy ko permanently normal nahi banata

3️⃣ Ab seedha sawal: ❓ Uttarbasti better hai ya Urethroplasty? 🔴 Sachchai (medically correct): 🛠 Urethroplasty ONLY definitive / permanent solution Especially jab: - Multiple strictures rahe ho - OIU fail ho chuka ho - Problem >6–12 months ho ✔ Success rate: 80–90% (experienced surgeon) ❌ Surgery hai, recovery time, cost

🌿 Uttarbasti Supportive / palliative treatment Best jab: - Surgery postpone karni ho - Symptoms mild ho - Surgery ke baad recurrence slow karna ho ✔ Flow better ✔ Burning kam ❌ Stricture wapas aa sakta hai (jaise ab lag raha hai) 👉 Uttarbasti ≠ urethroplasty ka replacement

4️⃣ Aapka current stage – kya samjhein? Aap: - OIU kara chuke - Multiple strictures ka history - Ab single stricture hai - Flow phir se weak hone laga 👉 Ye natural progression hai 👉 Isme aapne koi galti nahi ki

5️⃣ Agar har 2 mahine me 2 sittings Uttarbasti lete rahein to? ✅ Kya fayda hoga: - Symptoms control me rahenge - Acute blockage ka risk kam - Surgery ko delay kar sakte ho ❌ Kya limitation hai: - Long-term me permanent cure nahi - Har saal thoda-thoda narrowing badhti rehti hai - Ek point pe phir surgery zaroori ho jaati hai 👉 2–3 saal tak manage ho sakta hai, lifetime guarantee nahi

6️⃣ Government Ayurveda Hospital (Jaipur / Jodhpur) – Waiting time 🏥 Normally kya hota hai (first visit): Day 1 OPD registration Doctor consult Investigations likhte hain Waiting time OPD: 1–3 ghante

Uttarbasti: Agar indoor admission chahiye → 3–7 din OPD-based ho → 1–2 hafte

📌 Jaipur / Jodhpur jaise bade centers me: Bheed zyada hoti hai Par doctors experienced hote hain 👉 Private jaisa immediate start usually nahi hota

7️⃣ Ab practical & safe plan (mere hisaab se best) 🔹 Short-term (abhi) Pani: 3.5–4 liter daily Chandraprabha Vati + Gokshuradi Guggulu continue

Agar flow aur kam ho: RGU / uroflowmetry repeat Urologist opinion zaroor

🔹 Medium-term (6–12 months) 1 chhota Uttarbasti course (3–5 sittings) Crystals control Surgery mentally & financially plan karna

🔹 Long-term (best outcome) Experienced urologist se urethroplasty Surgery ke baad: Ayurveda medicines Kabhi-kabhi Uttarbasti → recurrence slow

Dekhiye I want ki patient ko clear answer mile… Or easy to understand the… I know well everyone firstly search on google , or any other internet source then came towards doctor.

But it’s our duty or priority to guide u first… As u have done with uttarbasti u told earlier but still getting the symptoms, it may be for further same… Urethroplasty is not permanent cure… But there are very less chances of its reoccurrance after urethroplasty.

Nothing to srry, I am gland u are open for it, and say it clearly, but just tried to explain u everything.

Urethroplasty bhi 100% permanent nahi hoti Recurrence hota hai Isliye kai logon ko baad me dilation / self-calibration chalti rehti hai

But as per your doubt…for long term uttarbasti,

Medical language me: “Permanent” ka matlab = Sabse lamba symptom-free period ❌ Ye matlab nahi: Dubara kabhi problem nahi hogi Recurrence rate: 10–30% Kai patients ko: 3–6 months me calibration Kabhi-kabhi repeat dilation 👉 Aap jo keh rahe ho, wo practical truth hai, I am not ignoring this.

But u also have to understand - Uttarbasti: ✔ Inflammation kam karti hai ✔ Fibrosis ko soft rakhti hai ✔ Flow maintain karne me madad karti hai ❌ Lekin: Scar banne ki biological tendency change nahi karti Isliye regular repetition chahiye 👉 Is wajah se: 2 mahine me 2 sittings Ya 3–4 mahine me short course log lete rehte hain

Apke case ki bat kre, as u know well OIU hua Multiple strictures the Ab ek dominant stricture hai Uttarbasti se passage smooth hua, par scar present raha Ab: Time ke saath: dehydration crystals local irritation → wohi weak point phir se symptomatic ho raha hai

Ab ya to ye ho skta h- Continuous conservative management (jaise aap kar rahe ho) Periodic Uttarbasti ko continue rkha ja skta jisse- Hydration + crystal control Kabhi-kabhi dilation ✔ Surgery avoid ❌ Life-long maintenance mode 👉 Ye galat choice nahi hai, agar aap mentally prepared ho.

But Haan, disease manageable reh sakta hai ❌ Guaranteed lifelong freedom nahi But again with other doubt Kya urethroplasty bhi final nahi? ✔ final year bhi ni h ✔ Par control period usually zyada hota hai

So if u have another doubt or any problem in my way of understand you , feel free to tell

Hi Aap kisi bhi achhe hospital ko prefer kar sakte hain Govt hospital cheap hain but time taking aur privacy compromise ho sakti hai but private hospital costly hain lekin service achhi hain Urethal structures mein uttar basti me sath calibration kara jata h jisse urethra the size wide ho sake Aap jahan bhi uttar basti karwaenge uske baare mein review aur baki sab facilities dekh kar karwaein wese uttar basti day care process toh zyada pareshani nhi aati h

Sir Mujhe lagta h uttar basti hi ek achha option hai kyuki mein khud bhi uttar basti karta hu aur urethroplasty mein surgery hone ke baad jo edge points join kare jate hain usme strictures form hone ke chances nhi hote hain … Mera personal point of view hai …aap kahi aur uttar basti ke liye try kijiye agar yha result nhi mila toh… Aur post surgery complications ho sakti hain nerve damage ya fir aur bhi koi problem Toh fir safer side go for uttar basti

Hello Glad you asked. Urethral stricture is one of those stubborn conditions—you’ve really got to use the right approach, the right medicines, and stay on top of follow-up, or it just keeps coming back.

Your questions about private vs government hospitals, quality, and whether Uttarbasti actually helps? Super important.

In simple terms, Ayurveda calls urethral stricture “Mutra Marga Sankocha.” Mostly, it happens when Apana Vata gets disturbed and there’s blockage in the channels. Here’s what usually goes on - An injury or infection starts things off—this causes inflammation. - When it heals, scar tissue forms. That scar tissue narrows the passage. - Vata dries things out and tightens the area even more. That’s why, if you just keep dilating the urethra and don’t treat the root, it keeps coming back.

Private vs Government Hospital:

What’s the Real Difference? Let’s be honest, the main differences come down to time, attention, and support:

Govt Hospital: - Time per patient? Rushed. - Doctor attention? They’re swamped. - Medicine quality? Standard, often bought in bulk. - Hygiene? Pretty good. - Follow-up? Hard to manage. - Supportive care? Rare.

Private Hospital: - More time with the doctor. - Personalized attention. - Usually better medicine quality. - Hygiene standards often a notch higher. - Easy follow-up. - Supportive care is planned.

But here’s the truth: The doctor’s experience matters more than the hospital name on the door.

What’s the Best Treatment?

There are three main options:

1. Modern (Allopathy): Dilation, OIU, or surgery. It works fast, but the stricture comes back in up to 70% of cases.

2. Just Uttarbasti (Ayurveda): Takes longer. Works well if you catch it early or if the stricture isn’t too severe. Stops scar tissue from building up.

3. The Best? Combine both. Modern dilation to open things up, Uttarbasti to heal the lining, and Rasayana for long-term strength. That way, you get the best of both worlds—fast relief and lasting results.

How Uttarbasti Really Works

Uttarbasti isn’t just about squirting oil somewhere. It does three key things: 1. Mechanical: The tube gently opens the stricture. Stops further narrowing. 2. Medicinal: The oils, kshar, or ghrita soften scar tissue, heal the lining, and calm down inflammation. 3. Vata Control: Helps restore balance, improves bladder control, and blocks recurrence.

So, the tube opens. The medicine heals. Balanced Vata stops it from coming back. All three are non-negotiable.

Best Medicines for Uttarbasti

It depends on the case, but here are the usual picks: - Sahacharadi Taila: For pain and dryness - Balashwagandhadi Taila: For healing - Apamarga Kshar Taila: For tight strictures - Yashtimadhu Ghrita: For delicate linings

How Many Sittings Do You Need?

Here’s the usual plan: - Main course: 7 to 10 sittings, every other day. - Maintenance: After 2 months, do 2–3 more sittings to keep things in check. Honestly, this step really helps prevent relapse.

Internal Medicines—Don’t Skip These

Just doing Uttarbasti isn’t enough. Without internal medicine, the effect doesn’t last. The essentials: - Chandraprabha Vati – 2 tablets twice a day - Gokshuradi Guggulu – 2 tablets twice a day - Varunadi Kwath – 20ml twice a day

They make the urinary tract stronger, help urine flow, and stop scar tissue from forming again.

Diet & Lifestyle: This Matters. A Lot. Avoid: - Spicy foods - Alcohol - Holding urine - Too much bike riding - Sexual excess

Instead, go for: - Warm water - Ghee in your diet - No constipation - Regular bladder emptying

Why Does Stricture Keep Coming Back?

Because standard dilation only fixes the structure—it doesn’t change how your tissues heal. Ayurveda works by correcting tissue quality, healing patterns, and balancing Vata. That’s why combining approaches actually lasts.

If you’re after quick relief, any hospital will do. If you want to solve the problem long-term, find an experienced Ayurvedic doctor, follow Uttarbasti protocol, keep up with maintenance sittings, and take internal medicines for 3–6 months. That’s how you get the best results and keep the problem from coming back again and again.

Urethral stricture isn’t cured with a single procedure. You need gentle, repeated healing, the right medicines, and some discipline. That’s where Ayurveda really shines.

Warm Regards Dr. Snehal Vidhate

You’re in the maintenance stage of a urethral stricture. It’s under control, not fully gone. Don’t worry—you don’t need the whole treatment again.

Here’s what to do next: Just go for 2 or 3 sessions of Uttarbasti as a supportive measure.

If you’re looking for affordable or free treatment, head to the Govt Ayurvedic College Hospital. Ask for the Shalya Tantra OPD and Uttarbasti procedure.

A few important tips: Drink 3 to 4 liters of water every day. Don’t hold your urine. Avoid constipation, stress, and long bike rides.

Here’s the truth: strictures need ongoing care, not a one-time fix. But with regular check-ups and a bit of discipline, you can live a normal life without surgery.

Private hospital time par, achhi medicine, better care (cost zyada) Govt hospital: sasta, par waiting aur continuity kam Urethral stricture me Uttarbasti + medicine best hota hai, sirf dilation temporary relief deta hai. Medicine quality aur timing bahut important hai 2 mahine baad 2 supporting sittings le sakte hain — long-term benefit ke liye achha hai

Urethroplasty Modern surgery (Allopathy) Urethra ki tangi / stricture ko operation se theek kiya jata hai Cutting, stitches, anesthesia lagta hai Permanent anatomical repair ke liye hota hai Hospital stay zaroori hota hai Uttarbasti Ayurvedic procedure Medicine ko urethra ya bladder ke andar dali jati hai Shukra-dhat, mutra-rog, jalan, dhat problem, weakness me upyogi No surgery, no cutting Functional improvement ke liye hota hai Short mein Urethroplasty = Operation se structure theek Uttarbasti = Ayurvedic medicine therapy se function sudharna

Uttarbasti urethral stricture jaise problem me ek bahut effective ayurvedic chikitsa hai khaaskar jab pehle surgery ho chuki ho aur problem dubara dubara aa rahi ho Private aur government hospital me farq mainly comfort hygiene time aur personalized care ka hota hai Government setup me protocol fixed hota hai time zyada lagta hai aur repeated sittings mushkil hoti hai jabki private setup me medicine quality timing aur procedure patient ki condition ke hisab se customize kiya jata hai isliye outcome better hota hai

Ilaj ke point of view se sirf dilation se temporary relief milta hai kyunki tube sirf blockage ko kholta hai lekin tissue healing nahi karta Uttarbasti me main kaam medicated oil ka hota hai jo urethra ke andar jaakar scar tissue ko soft karta hai inflammation kam karta hai aur healing promote karta hai Tube sirf medicine ko sahi jagah tak pahunchane ka medium hota hai asli kaam oil karta hai

Is condition me Bala taila ya Kshara taila uttarbasti ke liye use kiya jata hai jo stricture ke root cause ko address karta hai Usually initial phase me 5 to 7 sittings ki jarurat hoti hai depending on severity Uske baad 2 mahine ke gap me 1 ya 2 supporting care sittings lena bahut faydemand hota hai jisse long term me stricture wapas na bane

Sath me oral medicines bhi bahut zaruri hoti hai Gokshur churna 3 gram twice daily warm water ke sath urine flow improve karta hai Varunadi kwath 15 ml twice daily equal warm water ke sath urinary tract inflammation kam karta hai Chandraprabha vati 2 tablets twice daily after food bladder aur urethra ke function ko support karti hai Yashtimadhu churna 3 gram twice daily warm milk ya water ke sath tissue healing me madad karta hai

Paani ka intake achha rakhe lekin ek sath zyada na piye Mirchi masala alcohol smoking aur excess tea coffee avoid kare Zyada der urine hold na kare Proper uttarbasti aur supportive care ke sath majority patients me long time tak repeat dilation ya surgery ki zarurat nahi padti aur urine flow natural tarike se maintain rehta hai

🏥 Private vs Government Hospitals for Uttar Basti (Ayurvedic therapy for urethral stricture)

Private Hospitals: - Easier appointment scheduling, less waiting time. - Often more attention to medicine quality and hygiene. - Higher cost compared to government facilities.

Government Hospitals: - Much lower cost. - Experienced doctors are available, but crowding and time constraints can be an issue. - Medicine quality depends on the physician and facility.

👉 The success of Uttar Basti depends more on the doctor’s skill and the purity of the medicine than on whether the hospital is private or government.

🌿 Benefits of Uttar Basti - Reduces swelling and narrowing of the urethra. - Improves urine flow and reduces straining. - Nourishes and lubricates local tissues. - Helps prevent recurrent infections and burning.

What does the main work? - The medicated oil or ghee (e.g., Balataila, Yashtimadhu Taila, Ksheerabala Taila) is the active therapeutic agent. - The dilation tube is only the medium to deliver the medicine into the urethra. - So, the medicine itself does the healing work.

Urethral stricture means narrowing of urethera. Which leads to difficulty in passing urine. Now uttarbasti with jatyadi oil/ ghrita can be given as uttarbasti for this condition. What this will do is andar ki inflammation ko kum karega and infection se bhi bchayega 7 din ki sitting lijiye. Govt or private dono me treatment le sakte hai . Par dhyan me rakhiyega ya to koi surgeon ya MD PANCHAKARMA vhan par ho. Because septic measure lena jaruri hai during this procedure. Tab tak ap ye medicine lena start rakhiye 1. Arogyavardhini tab 2BD BF 2. Gandhak rasyan 2BD AF 3. Gokshuradi guggul 1BD AF 4. Triphala guggul 2BD A F. Agr medicines se theek lag rha hai to follow up le liye 15 din bad ajaye. Apko ye samjhna hoga ki ayurveda me preventive procedure and medicine hai 1st saal me 3 sitting 2nd saal me 2 sitting or 3rd saal me sirf 1 sitting long term relief ya disease ko khtam karne ke liye. Nahi to hum bhi doosri pathy ki trah symptoms vali medicines deke khatm karte but baat jab root se khtm karne ki hai to thoda time apko bhi invest karna padega khud ke upar. Thoda vishwas or dheeraj rakhiye apki apni long term healthy life ke liye.

Govt hospitals have Very low cost or free Experienced urologists (high volume of cases) Long waiting time (1–3 months for procedure) Medicine quality good but basic/standardized

Private hospitals have Much faster appointment & procedure (days to 1–2 weeks) More personalized care, better hygiene, comfortable setup Higher cost (₹15,000–40,000 per sitting depending on hospital & doctor) Often use premium oils (Dhanwantaram, Bala, Saindhavadi)

Which is better for Uttarbasti? Medicine quality & timing - Private hospitals usually better (freshly prepared, high-quality taila, proper sterile technique, better follow-up).

Permanent / long-term relief , Depends on stricture severity & technique, not hospital type. Success rate similar if doctor is experienced (70–85% good results in mild-moderate strictures).

Can you take supporting Uttarbasti every 2 months after main treatment? Yes – very good idea for maintenance. After main course (usually 7–14 daily/alternate day sittings), many patients take 1 sitting every 1–2 months for 6–12 months to prevent recurrence & keep urethra patent.

This is safe & commonly recommended by experienced urologists/vaidyas.

What works in Uttarbasti? Main action is of medicine (taila) for lubricating, anti-inflammatory & scar-softening effect of medicated oils (Dhanwantaram, Bala, Saindhavadi, Apamarga Kshar Taila).

Dilation tube only helps deliver oil deep into urethra – it is not the main curative part (oil does the healing).

Maintenance Uttarbasti every 2 months is excellent plan after main treatment. Consult experienced Ayurvedic urologist soon.

Yes it is totally fine if you take Uttarbasti 4 times a year. But vo depend krega aapke symptoms ke oopr. Agr symptoms nahi rahenge toh Uttarbasti ki frequency kam ho skti h. Jruri nahi ki 4 baar hi leni padhe ek saal mae
