Fenugreek (Methi) for Irregular Periods Properties: Balances hormones, mildly uterine stimulant, improves blood flow. Ayurvedic preparation with water (stoked water method): Method: Take 1 teaspoon of fenugreek seeds. Soak in 1 cup (250 ml) of water overnight. In the morning, strain and drink the water on an empty stomach. Optionally, chew the soaked seeds as well. Duration: Daily for 7–10 days before the expected period. If periods are missed, continue for 5–7 days to gently stimulate flow. Notes: Do not exceed 1–2 teaspoons of seeds per day. Avoid if you are pregnant (stimulates uterus). Monitor for mild stomach discomfort; if it occurs, reduce the dose. -Better Alternatives for Missed/Irregular Periods Fenugreek (Methi) – 1 tsp soaked overnight, drink water in the morning. Shatavari – 2–5 g powder with warm milk, supports hormones. Ginger + Cinnamon tea – stimulates blood flow and warmth in the uterus. Dashamoola decoction – mild uterine stimulant, reduces inflammation. Lifestyle: Warm compress, gentle yoga, avoid cold foods, and keep stress low.
