Concerns About Height Growth at Age 17 - #50834
Hello Doctor, I am 17 years old and will turn 18 soon. My current height is 4'11". My mother is around 5'2" and my father is around 5'5". I started my periods at 13–14 years old and they are regular. I feel like I have stopped growing for the past few years, and nothing seems to help. I really want to know if it is still possible for me to grow taller, ideally up to 5'3". Could you please advise: • Is there any chance for me to grow more at this age? • Should I get a bone age X-ray or any tests (like thyroid or growth hormone)? • What steps, if any, can I take to maximize my height safely? Honestly, I’m still feeling really depressed about this. Knowing I’ve likely reached my final height is very hard to accept. Is there truly no method at all, even medical or natural, that could increase my height? I want to know everything possible, no matter how extreme, because this is something I really can’t get over. I just want full clarity, even if the answer is brutal. Thank you for your guidance
