Gulmohar In English - #7012
I recently came across a beautiful tree in my neighborhood that I had never seen before. It had vibrant red flowers, and I found out that it’s called Gulmohar in local language. However, I’m not sure what the English name for Gulmohar is. Some people mentioned it might be the Flame Tree, but I’m not certain. Can anyone confirm if the English name for Gulmohar is indeed Flame Tree, or if it has another common name in English? I did a little research, and it seems the Gulmohar tree is popular for its aesthetic beauty, but I’d like to know more about it, especially from an Ayurvedic perspective. I’ve heard that Gulmohar has medicinal properties in Ayurveda, like improving circulation and promoting overall wellness. I’m curious if there are any Ayurvedic remedies made from the Gulmohar tree. Can the flowers or leaves be used in herbal treatments for certain conditions, like inflammation or skin diseases? I’ve also seen that the wood is used in making furniture and crafts, but I’m mainly interested in its health benefits. If anyone has more knowledge on the medicinal uses of the Gulmohar tree in Ayurveda or the English name, I would appreciate any details. Does this tree have any specific uses or significance in Ayurvedic medicine?
