I am really curious about custard powder lately! I've been making desserts for my family, and sometimes I use custard powder for a quick fix. But I've had mixed feelings about its health benefits. Last week, my friend mentioned that custard powder isn’t really good for health because of added sugars or whatever, and I started to worry. It's easy to make, and my kids love it, but is custard powder good for health, like really? Should I be using it less or looking for alternatives? Do you think I can make healthier versions without sacrificing taste? Help!

Where possible, also consider the time and manner of consumption. Fresh desserts are generally best consumed during mid-day when the digestive fire is at its peak, which can also help in better digestion and assimilation of nutrients.
