I am really confused about how much is 100 grams of rice. I’ve started cooking for myself, and I keep coming across different quantities. Like, the other day, I tried to measure out 100 grams for a stir fry but it just seemed like so little. I used my kitchen scale, and it said 100 grams but it looked so tiny compared to the rice my mom used to make! Does 100 grams of rice really serve one person, or am I just missing something? Also, when I cooked it, it expanded so much, did I mess it up? I mean, I thought I’d have enough for two meals, but it was gone in no time. Does anyone have tips on portion sizes for rice? I always see recipes saying, “use this much rice,” but if I don’t know how much is 100 grams of rice, it makes cooking a nightmare. I worry I’m gonna starve or something if I keep guessing! Any help would be super appreciated!
