I am a bit confused about something regarding my diet and wanted to see if anyone has insight. Lately, I’ve been incorporating beetroot into my meals because I've heard its super healthy and packed with nutrients. I've started having beetroot juice for breakfast and adding roasted beetroot to my salads. But, I’ve noticed that my weight has gone up a little and I’m honestly not sure why. Does beetroot increase weight? I’ve read mixed things online, some say it can help with weight loss because of the fiber content, but then I see others mentioning that it’s high in sugar. I just want to know what I should believe! I feel almost like I’m doing this all to eat healthy and then bam, the scale says otherwise. Is this normal or am I just imagining things? Like, I don’t want to cut it out completely since I really enjoy beetroot, but now I'm starting to feel like maybe it’s doing more harm than good for my weight. Does beetroot actually have any direct influence on weight gain? Should I be worried? Any advice or personal experiences would be super helpful!
