I am really confused about my diet lately. I’ve been trying to lose some weight but my friends keep saying that eating mutton is not good for weight loss. I had this awesome mutton curry the other day, and it was sooo delicious! But then I started wondering, does mutton increase weight? Like, I’ve read that it’s high in protein, which is good for building muscle, right? But does that mean it also means more calories and potential for gaining weight? I've been sticking to lean meats and lots of veggies, but I can’t help but crave mutton sometimes. Also, I notice that when I have mutton, I feel fuller for a longer time, which is nice, but I worry that this could backfire. If I have it once or twice a week, will that ruin my efforts? I even checked my weight after a mutton-focused dinner, and it seemed like I gained a bit but maybe that was just water weight?? I guess what I’m really asking is, does mutton increase weight, or is it more about how much I consume overall? Any tips on how to enjoy mutton without sabotaging my weight loss?
