Apples are considered a type of sour fruit (even if they taste sweet sometimes). Milk is seen as sweet and heavy. Combining these can disrupt your digestive fire, or “agni,” leading to ama, which is undigested food toxins. Some other fruits that aren’t great with milk are bananas and melons, but hey, there are exceptions.

Now, if you’re happily enjoying this blend without immediate issues, it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s suitable for the long haul.
