Hypersensitivity is primarily caused by an overactive immune response, which in Ayurveda is often rooted in the accumulation of Ama (undigested toxins) in the body. Therefore, the first step should be mild detoxification and then correction of immune function.

For Mild Detoxification: Give your child Triphala powder – ½ teaspoon with lukewarm water at bedtime for 7 days.

🌼 Post Detoxification (After 7 Days): Start Haridra Khanda – ½ teaspoon with warm milk, once daily.

💉 Swarna Prashan: Kindly visit a nearby Ayurvedic hospital or clinic to administer Swarna Prashan during Pushya Nakshatra, up to the age of 16 years.it willcorrect the immunity .

🚫 Dietary & Lifestyle Recommendations: Avoid cold items, fast food, junk food, and over-fried foods.

Include fresh fruits and sprouts in breakfast regularly.

Encourage a sattvic (light and wholesome) diet to support digestion and immunity.

Based on what you’ve shared about your son’s symptoms – such as breathing issues linked to allergens like cold foods or smoke – it seems like there’s an imbalance in his doshas, likely pitta and vata-related. A comprehensive approach in Ayurveda can help address these underlying imbalances. Though always consult with healthcare professionals before stopping prescribed medication, here are a few ayurvedic suggestions to support his condition.

First, dietary adjustments are crucial. Limit cold and processed foods, which can aggravate vata dosha. Opt for warm, cooked meals like soups and stews. Including spices like ginger and turmeric boosts agni and supports respiratory health. Including honey and tulsi (Holy basil) in water can help soothe his symptoms – honey has a slight warming quality and tulsi balances kapha and vata.

Lifestyle changes are equally important. Encourage nasal breathing exercises, such as pranayama (Anulom Vilom or Nadi Shodhana) regularly to help balance his respiratory system. Ensure he gets adequate rest and limit his exposure to allergens as much as possible, like avoiding ice creams or cold drinks.

Implementing specific Ayurvedic therapies can also be beneficial. Nasya therapy, which involves applying warmed sesame oil or Anu Taila into the nostrils, may be performed under guidance for its potential to clear nasal passages and support lung health.

Herbal support can complement these approaches. Consider Ayurvedic herbs like Vasa (Adhatoda vasica), which are known for supporting respiratory function. With an Ayurvedic practitioner, these can be integrated safely, focusing on his unique constitution.

If symptoms escalate or a sudden breathing difficulty arises, prioritizing modern medical intervention is paramount. Balancing Ayurvedic remedies with medical care is essential, ensuring safety while potentially reducing reliance on medications.
