What are triglycerides, and how can high levels be reduced naturally? - #14671
I recently had a blood test, and my doctor said my triglycerides are higher than normal. I don’t fully understand what this means or why it’s important for heart health. What exactly are triglycerides, and how do they affect the body? I read that they are a type of fat in the blood, but how do they differ from cholesterol? Also, what causes high triglycerides—is it just diet, or do genetics and other health conditions play a role? What are the best ways to lower triglycerides naturally? Does exercise help more than diet, or do both need to be changed? Also, are there Ayurvedic herbs or natural remedies that help regulate triglyceride levels without medication? If anyone has successfully lowered their triglycerides, what worked best? Did dietary changes alone help, or did you need to combine multiple lifestyle changes?
