Hello Avejit, Your symptoms suggest IBS with Vata-Pitta imbalance, leading to poor digestion, weight loss, and acidity. To calm this, follow a regular eating schedule and avoid long gaps between meals. Eat warm, fresh, and lightly spiced food. Avoid spicy, fried, processed foods, caffeine, and cold drinks. Start the day with 1 tsp Amla powder in warm water. Drink Jeera-Dhania-Saunf (cumin-coriander-fennel) tea after meals to reduce gas and acidity. Take Buttermilk with a pinch of rock salt and roasted cumin at lunch. Use Bilva or Triphala churna at bedtime for constipation relief. Do you experience stress or anxiety that worsens symptoms? Try deep breathing (Anulom Vilom), gentle yoga (Pawanmuktasana), and oil massage (Abhyanga with warm sesame oil) to relax the gut. A detailed consultation is essential for proper management program.

First off, dealing with IBS plus those other symptoms like sour belch, gas, and constipations, it can be really frustrating, right? It’s like your digestive system’s got its own plans and not sharing them with you. So, how do we turn things around? Let's look into it with some Ayurveda perspective. Now, with IBS and this weight loss, there's often a Vata imbalance going on there. Vata's all about motion, and when it’s off, everything's kinda up-in-the-air, from digestion to waste elimination. You know, it’s like wind that won’t settle. So first, let’s calm that windy Vata. Start with your diet. Warm, soupy, easy-to-digest foods is your friends. Think kichari made with rice and mung dal, seasoned lightly with cumin and turmeric. Have it for lunch and dinner. Avoid raw veggies, salads, or anything cold, cause Vata loves cold and raw, and we don’t want to encourage it, right? Sip on ginger-tea with meals, it’s great for igniting your agni (digestive fire). Maybe try Triphala at night, say a teaspoon with warm water. It can support regular bowel movement and is nurturing for the dhatus (tissues). For gass and bloating, ajwain seeds—a pinch with a little black salt after meals might help. Daily routine's vital too. Try gettin up and sleeping same time each day. Regularity calms Vata like a cozy blanket. Even self-massage with warm sesame oil before shower, it’s soothing. For heartburn, coconut water might do the trick, have some between meals. But if you feels is getting worse, better check with your doc. And about the weight gain, give it some time. Once the system's balanced, your body will finds its own way back. Slowly, gradually. Just hang in there and try to watch your stress levels too – meditation or guided breathing can help! Remember, every suggestion comes with its own adjustments. If something doesn’t feel right, better to pause. Ayurveda's all about harmony, not battle. Keep listenin to what your body tells you.
