Namaste, Omer. Psoriasis, combined with hair fall, and fatigue, indicates an imbalance in Pitta and Vata doshas. In Ayurveda, psoriasis is aggravated by poor digestion, toxin accumulation, and stress. Ayurvedic treatment focuses on detoxification, digestion correction, and tissue rejuvenation.  1. Kayakalp Vati – 1 tablets twice a day with lukewarm water after meals.  2. Giloy Ghanvati – 1tablets twice a day with warm water before meals.  3. Arogyavardhini Vati – 1 tablet twice a day with honey after meals.  4. Triphala Churna – 1/2 teaspoon at bedtime with warm water.  5. Aloe Vera Juice – 10 ml mixed with half a glass of water, once a day on an empty stomach.  6 . Kayakalp Taila – apply on affected areas twice daily after bath and before bedtime..  7. Neem Oil and Coconut Oil (in a 1:1 ratio) – apply to affected areas daily. Eat a Pitta-pacifying diet including bitter and astringent foods like neem, karela (bitter gourd), methi (fenugreek), and turmeric. Avoid sour, spicy, fried, and fermented foods, non-vegetarian food, and dairy (except buttermilk). Drink warm water with a pinch of turmeric and a teaspoon of ghee every morning. Consume homemade buttermilk with Haritaki powder for gut healing. Practice Sheetali Pranayama, Sheetkari, and Anulom-Vilom for 15 minutes daily; add neem leaves and a pinch of turmeric to warm bathwater; and take a bath For hair fall, massage the scalp every night before sleep with Patanjali Kesh Kanti Hair Oil; take 1/2 teaspoon of Brahmi powder with Amla juice twice a day; and apply Bhringraj Taila to the scalp and leave overnight before washing with a mild herbal shampoo. Follow-up after 30 days for reassessment

Psoriasis with symptoms like hair fall, fatigue, and redness is often linked to imbalanced Vata, Kapha, and aggravated Pitta doshas in Ayurveda, often associated with poor digestion and toxin buildup. Management includes detoxification through Panchakarma therapies like Virechana and Raktamokshana, internal herbs such as Neem, Manjistha, and Guduchi for blood purification, and Triphala for gut health. Applying soothing oils like Mahamarichyadi Tailam and Aloe Vera gel can reduce skin irritation. Following a Pitta-pacifying diet, staying hydrated, and managing stress through yoga, meditation, and Pranayama can prevent flare-ups. A personalized Ayurvedic consultation is recommended for a targeted treatment plan.

Hi Omer, To manage psoriasis and related symptoms like leaky gut, hair fall, and tiredness, Ayurveda suggests balancing the Vata and Pitta doshas. Focus on an anti-inflammatory diet with cooling foods like coconut, ghee, and leafy greens, while avoiding spicy and greasy foods. Herbs like turmeric, neem, and ashwagandha can reduce inflammation and stress. Regular oil massages with sesame or coconut oil, and soothing baths with Epsom salt or neem can help moisturize and calm the skin. Managing stress through yoga or meditation, and improving gut health with probiotics can also support healing. Make sure to consult with an Ayurvedic practitioner to personalize this approach based on your unique needs. Have you noticed any specific triggers that worsen your psoriasis, like certain foods or stress?

Psoriasis, leaky gut, hair fall, tiredness—all these can totally drain ya, right? Ayurveda though, it's got this whole holistic approach, a way to really get to the core of the issue. First, we want to take a look at your doshas. Psoriasis often has a lot to do with imbalances in Pitta and Vata. These imbalances might be heating up your system too much, causing inflammation and hence that redness and discomfort. Let's cool it down, alright? For diet, think Pitta-pacifying foods—cooling, not spicy, not oily. Go for cucumbers, melons, green leafy veggies, and coconut water, it's kinda the best. Avoid overly spicy, salty foods, and try to cut down on alcohol, caffeine, and red meats. These aggravate Pitta, which we don’t want. Regarding leaky gut, an easy way to support digestion might be to incorporate a simple CCF tea (Cumin, Coriander, Fennel), basically brew 1 tsp each in water, and sip throughout the day. It’s gentle, helps digestion, and balances Pitta and Vata. For your skin, something like Neem oil or the herb Guduchi can help. Neem is known to be cooling and purifying. A thin layer of Neem oil applied on affected areas can sooth the skin. Guduchi, known as another cooling herb, can be taken as a supplement; follow the dosage on the package. Hair fall? Let's nourish that scalp with some Bhringaraj oil. Massage it in gently a few times a week. It's believed to help with hair growth and strengthen the roots. Get plenty of rest. Stress often worsens psoriasis, and believe it or not, it's kinda like a vicious cycle with leaky gut and hair fall too. Try to find time for meditation, yoga or even some light walking. Keep it simple, right? Lastly about pain and damage, abhyanga (self-massage) with warm sesame oil daily can work wonders for Vata imbalances. But it's okay to start small, maybe just during weekends when you have some extra time. If anything seems wacky or off, don't hesitate to chat with a real-life Ayurvedic doc or a healthcare provider. Safety first, always.
