Hello Ken , It seems that your high TSH levels indicate hypothyroidism, which may suggest that your Carbimazole dose needs adjustment. Symptoms like constipation, fatigue, skin peeling, and body aches are common with thyroid imbalances. Additionally, medications like Propranolol and Enalapril can sometimes contribute to side effects such as dizziness, ringing in the ears, and muscle discomfort. The peeling skin on your feet could be linked to poor circulation, dry skin from hypothyroidism, or a separate dermatological issue. While back and chest pain could be musculoskeletal, any persistent or severe chest discomfort should be evaluated promptly to rule out heart-related concerns. In Ayurveda, the treatment for thyroid imbalances, particularly hypothyroidism, focuses on balancing the Kapha and Vata doshas. Herbal remedies like Kanchanar Guggulu and Ashwagandha are often recommended to support thyroid function and reduce gland swelling. Triphala and Trikatu may aid digestion and metabolism. Regular Abhyanga (oil massage) with warm oils can improve circulation and reduce muscle stiffness. Dietary changes include consuming warm, cooked foods, avoiding heavy, cold, and oily foods, and incorporating spices like ginger, black pepper, and turmeric to stimulate digestion. Yoga practices like Sarvangasana and breathing exercises (Pranayama) can also support thyroid health. However, a detailed evaluation is needed to decide a proper solution according to Ayurveda, and it’s essential to consult an Ayurvedic practitioner for a personalized treatment plan alongside ongoing allopathic care. By addressing your thyroid management and monitoring for any cardiovascular symptoms, you should experience relief from many of your current symptoms.

Hi Ken, 1. How long have you been on carbimazole, and have you noticed any changes in your symptoms since starting the medication? 2. Are your blood pressure and other symptoms like chest pain and back pain being well-managed with your current medications? 3. Have you made any dietary or lifestyle changes to help manage your thyroid and blood pressure conditions?
