Doctors’ responses

**Hello!** Based on your condition, I recommend visiting a nearby **Panchakarma center** for a thorough evaluation. They can provide better guidance through Ayurvedic diagnostic procedures such as: - **Jihva Pariksha** (Tongue Examination) - **Nadi Pariksha** (Pulse Diagnosis) - **Prakriti Pariksha** (Constitutional Assessment) etc. After the assessment, they may suggest suitable therapies . Please let me know if visiting a center is feasible for you. Otherwise, I can suggest **home remedies and medications** for better relief. Looking forward to your response!

Your symptoms suggest chronic airway inflammation (possibly allergic or reactive airway disease), acid reflux, and digestive imbalance. The throat irritation, voice issues, and breathing difficulty triggered by pungent smells indicate Vata-Pitta imbalance with hypersensitivity. 1.mulethi kwath- 1 tsp in 400 mL of water boil until it remains 100 mL strain and drink twice daily on empty stomach 2.Sitopaladi Churna – ½ tsp with honey twice daily). 3.Haridra khand- (¼ tsp in warm water twice daily) 4.tab.liv 52 - 1 tab twice daily after food 5.Anu Taila (2 drops in each nostril daily) 6.Avipattikar Churna – (½ tsp before meals) with water 7.Triphala Churna – (½ tsp at bedtime with warm water) at night Avoid triggers: Cold drinks, spicy & fried foods, strong smells, dust, and dairy. Include alkaline foods: Warm water, coconut water, fresh fruits (papaya, pomegranate), and cooked vegetables. Do Ujjayi Pranayama (Soft Throat Breathing) to strengthen the airway. Drink lukewarm water throughout the day.

It sounds like you may be experiencing a mixture of respiratory and digestive issues, potentially resulting from some degree of vata imbalance, which can affect both the throat and digestive system. The combination of throat sensitivity, difficulty in breathing, and issue with stool indicates that there may be some imbalance in the Prana Vayu, which is responsible for the movement in the chest and throat area, along with digestive disturbances. Vata imbalance might also be contributing to your sleep difficulties. To address these concerns, you could consider a multi-faceted approach using Ayurvedic principles: 1. For the throat, a soothing gargle might help. Try using warm water mixed with a pinch of turmeric (haldi) and a little bit of rock salt. Gargle with this mixture twice a day, which can help reduce inflammation and soothe irritation. 2. Consider taking Yashtimadhu (licorice) powder, which is recognized in Ayurveda for its benefits to throat and respiraory health. Mix half a teaspoon with warm water twice a day. However, if you have blood pressure issues, it's best to avoid this. 3. Your breathing difficulty and throat reactions to pungent smells could be worsened by stress, so practicing deep, controlled breathing exercises (Pranayama) like Anulom Vilom can be beneficial. 4. About digestion, you might want to drink warm water regularly to help with bowel movements. Trifala churna, taken with warm water before bed, may help to ease constipation naturally. 5. Your condition might still call for modern medical interventions. Since your symptoms involve potential airway inflammation, continue to consult and follow up with your healthcare provider, especially given the Hbs-ag positive status. This calls for ongoing monitoring and possibly hepatoprotective Ayurveda herbs like Bhumyamalaki, but under professional care only. 6. Avoid cold and dry foods, and stay hydrated with warm, mild herbal teas like ginger or cinnamon, both known for soothing the throat. Remember, Ayurveda offers a gentle approach, but since complex symptoms like yours present, continuous guidance from a healthcare provider is crucial.
