Persistent infection may be due to the antibiotics which you are taking might not be responding . Because of pregnancy due to Harmonal changes it can increase the vaginal discharge and make harder to clear the infection Better once you consult your OBSTETRICIAN and take proper treatment…keep the area clean Meanwhile check your sugar levels

Excessive yellow discharge and itching during pregnancy are usually caused by vaginal infections . In Ayurveda, this condition is referred to as “Yoni Dushti”, which is mainly linked to an imbalance of Pitta and Kapha doshas.

U shall have definite relief doing Herbal Remedies:

1. Neem Usage:

Boil neem leaves in water, let it cool, and use this water to wash the vaginal area. Applying neem oil can help relieve infection.

2.Triphala Decoction:

Boil Triphala powder in water, let it cool, and use it to cleanse the vaginal area.

Instead taking medication from GP take a gynaecologist consultation.

Experiencing excessive yellow discharge and itching during pregnancy can be concerning, especially if the current treatment is not alleviating these symptoms. From an Ayurvedic perspective, this could potentially relate to imbalances in the doshas, specifically an excess of Pitta dosha, which can lead to inflammation and irritation, or Kapha dosha, possibly causing excessive moisture and discharge. Here are some Ayurvedic recommendations that might be helpful:

1. Dietary Adjustments: Focus on a Pitta-pacifying diet to help reduce inflammation. Incorporate cooling foods like cucumbers, melons, spinach, and cilantro. Avoid spicy, sour, and salty foods which may aggravate Pitta. Staying hydrated with coconut water or warm water with a squeeze of lemon can also support balance.

2. Hygiene and Personal Care: Use gentle, natural products for hygiene. Wash with lukewarm water, avoid harsh soaps or scented products in intimate areas, which can further irritate the skin. Wearing loose, cotton underwear could also assist in letting the area breathe, reducing moisture accumulation.

3. Herbal Support: Triphala is traditionally used in Ayurveda for its detoxifying properties. You can take Triphala powder (about 1 teaspoon) with warm water at bedtime, but please check with your doctor before starting any supplementation during pregnancy.

4. Local applications: A paste made from neem and turmeric can be soothing. Mix a small amount of neem powder with a pinch of turmeric and apply it to the affected area gently, leave it for about 10-15 minutes before washing off with warm water.

5. Consult a practitioner: Even while trying these Ayurvedic tips, it’s crucial to follow up with your healthcare provider, as persistent symptoms like yours may require further medical evaluation. It’s important to prioritize your safety and comfort during pregnancy.

Since you’re already under medical care, make sure to discuss any new approach with your healthcare provider to ensure there’s no conflict with the treatments you’ve been prescribed. Ayurveda can be very helpful, but always in sync with conventional medical advice, especially during pregnancy.
