White pigmentation on the skin can be a frustrating concern, especially when it affects visible areas like near the eyes or eyebrows. In Ayurveda, such pigmentation is often linked to imbalances in the doshas, particularly an irregularity in Kapha and Pitta, or disruptions in your body's melanin production. Here are some tailored Ayurvedic suggestions that might be helpful: 1. **Neem and Turmeric Paste**: Both Neem and turmeric have shown properties that can help in skin conditions. You can make a paste by mixing Neem powder and turmeric with a little bit of water or rose water. Apply it gently to the affected area once a day and wash it off after 20 minutes. 2. **Dietary Adjustments**: Favor foods that pacify Pitta and Kapha like fresh greens, whole grains, and light, non-greasy meals. Avoid sour, spicy, and very oily foods. Incorporate green leafy vegetables that promote a balanced dosha and overall health. 3. **Coconut Oil**: Applying pure coconut oil on the white spots once or twice daily might help due to its soothing nature and ability to nourish the skin. 4. **Lifestyle & Stress Management**: Engage in gentle exercises like yoga or walking regularly to enhance circulation and reduce stress, which can exacerbate skin conditions. Consider practicing deep breathing exercises like pranayama. 5. **Herbal Supplements**: Consuming herbal supplements that support skin health like Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia) or Manjistha (Rubia cordifolia) can be beneficial. Please check with a local Ayurvedic practitioner for personalized advice as these should align with your current medications. 6. **Regular Detoxification**: Mild detox methods like consuming warm water with a dash of lemon may aid in maintaining balanced doshas, indirectly supporting skin health. However, be cautious if you have sensitive digestion. Since you have mentioned that previous attempts have not been effective, it's essential to consult a healthcare professional, preferably one specializing in dermatology, to exclude any serious conditions that may require different treatments. Ensure continuity of any prescribed medication unless advised by your healthcare provider.
