Namaste From your description, it sounds like your son is having hand food and more disease, which is a common viral illness in babies and without any treatment, it will resolve by its own within 7 to 10 days, Please do not give clove water, as it is not advisable for babies under one year, which can irritate your sons stomach and may cause burning vomiting You can continue breastfeeding continuously, I mean, every two hrs , it helps in supporting immunity naturally Continue the medicine which are advised by paediatrician. Apply a drop of money with a clean finger. If your son is above 6 months old Focus on hydration, comfort, breastfeeding, and cooling. External remedies. Do not worry. It will resolve by its own.

Viral infections, especially in infants, can be concerning as their immune systems are still developing. While clove does have some potential immune-supporting and antiviral properties, using clove water for a 6-month-old should be approached with caution. Cloves are quite potent, and their strong nature may not be suitable for a baby’s delicate system. For an infant, it's best to rely on milder and well-established methods to support immunity. Breastfeeding, if you're able, continues to provide vital antibodies and strengthens the baby’s natural defenses. Keeping him hydrated is crucial, so continue with breast milk or formula as he tolerates. In Ayurveda, an infant's digestion and body’s balance (doshas) is quite sensitive. Direct clove usage can create more imbalance or aggravate the condition, especially given its potent nature and the baby's tender age. Instead, focusing on supportive care for your child during this time is key. Ensure he stays comfortable, with clean and breathable clothing, and watch for any symptoms that might need immediate attention, like dehydration or a high-grade fever that persists. If you're considering any herbal support, it’s always, and I cannot stress this enough, best to consult your pediatrician or an Ayurveda practitioner who can consider all aspects of your child's health contextually, ensure safety, and provide personalized guidance. Always prioritize methods that are universally recognized as safe for infants. Monitor his symptoms closely, and it’s vital to seek medical attention promptly if you notice any abnormalities in his condition or if his symptoms worsen. Your healthcare provider’s guidance combined with maintaining a nurturing environment can help your baby recover more comfortably.
