Hi dear Thank thank you for sharing your concern I can understand how difficult it is for you to live with this kind of pain at such a young age Having sleep disc at the stage and joint pain for over a year might be frustrating, both physically and mentally And you’re telling that you have tried with so many doctors, but nothing giving any relief The reason behind this, you’re taking symptomatic treatment, which is time being, but in Ayurveda, mainly with the root cause, we doesn’t try to reduce symptomatically, but we try to take out from the root cause The body is made in such a beautiful way that when one part is out of balance, it affects everything that is your digestion, your sleep, and even your energy levels I feel in your case that your body is tired and overloaded It is holding on pain because it is not getting the rest , the nourishment and routine it needs to heal That’s why instead of only looking for painkiller or therapy, we had to try to bring back your body into balance in a natural way as it take time, but if you follow in a disciplined way with commitment, definitely you’re going to see the changes You need to strictly follow the three fundamental rules that is diet changes lifestyle modification, and internal medicine First of all Start your day with a glass of warm water This will help clean system and reduce If your digestion is low, or if you feel heavy, then you can drink CCF tea Try to give your body warmth Whole body massage with warm sesame oil or coconut oil Use ghee in your diet Avoid cold foods, drinks packet foods, junk food, and anything that is too heavy Eat warm, freshly cook meals Use spices like jira Haldi Car, seats and a little piece of ginger in your cooking Avoid curd , especially at night Include green vegetables, soft cook, Dals and grains like rice or millets Avoid sitting in one place for too long, more gently, every hour Do simple stretches or yoga for your spine, gentle exercises or enough. Don’t do heavy exercises and that it gives pressure on your spine, but moments that support flexibility and circulation are required. Avoid lifting heavyweights Avoid wrong posture Try to lie flat on your back when resting Internal medicines, you can try like Trayodashang guggulu/ Peedantak vati- 1 tab twice daily after food with lukewarm water Dashamoola aristha- 2 tsp with equal quantity of water twice daily after food Mahanarayana taila- gentle massage on your back

It needs a few months of steady care to repair itself. Be patient and kind with yourself. Don’t lose hope your body still as a strong ability to recover. Just give you the right food right routine and write medicine and slowly things will begin to improve

Hello

Slip disc is not curable but definitely well managed without your day to day activities and work but need proper treatment.

Firstly follow some low back strengthening exercises. Walking - 30mins Try to sleep on hard surface but not on floor Keep the pillow in between the knee turn one side and sleep.

Best results to get better to undergo panchakarma treatment 1) kati basti followed by Patra pinda sweda for 7days 2) matra basti for 3days

Medicine 1) Lumbatone soft gel caps 1-1-1 after food 2) sahacharadi kashaya 3) rasnaerandadi kashaya 10ml-0-10ml with 10ml warm water before food ( mix each kashaya equal quantity ).

Follow this for month but after 10 days of panchakarma treatment You will get relief.

Thank you

Experiencing persistent pain from a slip disc and joint discomfort can be quite challenging, and you’ve done well to seek help from various specialists. Ayurveda can complement your treatment and may provide relief by focusing on dosha balance and strengthening your dhatus, particularly focusing on Vata dosha, which tends to be associated with bone and joint issues.

Firstly, it’s vital to bring a state of calm and stability to the body. Using warm sesame oil or Mahanarayan oil for gentle massage (abhyanga) on affected areas might reduce pain and help in rebalancing Vata. I recommend daily massage followed by a warm bath. Ensure the oil is well absorbed, and use gentle strokes, avoiding intense pressure over the spine.

Dietary adjustments could also help. Favor warm, cooked foods with appropriate spices like turmeric and ginger which are natural anti-inflammatory agents. Avoid cold, raw foods and excessive caffeine, which may aggravate Vata.

Practicing mild yoga and pranayama exercises can also provide relief. Gentle poses such as Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose) and Shalabhasana (Locust Pose) can help strengthen the back muscles and support the spine. Breathing exercises like Anulom Vilom (alternate nostril breathing) may help soothe the nervous system and manage pain.

Herbal formulations such as Guggulu, Shallaki or Haritaki may assist in reducing inflammation and improving mobility. However, it’s important to consult with an Ayurvedic practitioner before starting any herbal supplements to ensure they are suitable for your specific condition.

If there’s no improvement or pain worsens, it might be necessary to continue considering medical interventions or treatments advised by orthopedic specialists. Addressing this condition comprehensively with both Ayurvedic and conventional approaches could offer the best chances of relief.

Dr. Isha Bhardwaj
I am someone who kinda learned early that medicine isn’t just about protocols or pills—like, it’s more about people, right? I did my BAMS with proper grounding in both classical Ayurveda and also the basics of modern med, which honestly helped me see both sides better. During internship, I got to work 6 months at Civil Hospital Sonipat—very clinical, very fast paced—and the other 6 at our own Ayurvedic hospital in the college. That mix showed me how blending traditional and integrative care isn't just theory, it actually works with real patients. After that I joined Kbir Wellness, an Ayurvedic aushdhalaya setup, where I dived into Naadi Pariksha—like really deep. It’s weird how much you can tell from pulse if you just listen right?? Doing regular consultations there sharpened my sense of prakriti, vikriti and how doshas show up subtle first. I used classical Ayurvedic texts to shape treatment plans, but always kept the patient’s routine, mental space and capacity in mind. Also I was part of some health camps around Karnal and Panipat—especially in govt schools and remote areas. That part really stays with me. You get to help ppl who dont usually have access to consistent care, and you start valuing simple awareness more than anything. I kinda think prevention should be a bigger focus in Ayurveda, like we keep talking about root cause but don’t always reach people before it gets worse. My whole method is pretty much built around that—root-cause treatment, yes, but also guiding patients on how to live with their body instead of fighting symptoms all the time. I rely a lot on traditional diagnostics like Naadi, but I mix that with practical therapies they can actually follow. No point in giving hard-to-do regimens if someone’s already overwhelmed. I keep it flexible. Most of my plans include dietary changes, natural formulations, lifestyle corrections and sometimes breathwork, daily rhythms and all that. I’m not here to just “treat illness”—what I really aim for is helping someone feel like they’ve got a handle on their own health again. That shift from just surviving to kinda thriving... that’s what I look for in every case.

Dr. Khushboo
I am someone who kinda started out in both worlds—Ayurveda and allopathy—and that mix really shaped how I see health today. My clinical journey began with 6 months of hands-on allopathic exposure at District Hospital Sitapur. Honestly, that place was intense. Fast-paced, high patient flow, constant cases of chronic and acute illnesses coming through. That taught me a lot about how to see disease. Not just treat it, but like… notice the patterns, get better at real-time diagnosis, really listen to what the patient isn’t saying out loud sometimes. It gave me this sharper sense of clinical grounding which I think still stays with me. Then I moved more deeply into Ayurveda and spent another 6 months diving into clinical training focused on Panchakarma therapies. Stuff like Abhyanga, Basti, Shirodhara—learned those not just as a list of techniques, but how and when to use 'em, especially for detox and deep healing. Every case felt like a different puzzle. There wasn’t always one right answer, you know? And that’s where I found I loved adapting protocols based on what the person actually needed, not just what the textbook says. Alongside that, I got certified in Garbha Sanskar through structured training. That really pulled me closer to maternal health. Pregnancy support through Ayurveda isn’t just about herbs or massage, it’s like this entire way of guiding a mother-to-be toward nourishing the baby right from conception—emotionally, physically, all of it. That part stuck with me hard. My overall approach? It’s kinda fluid. I believe in balancing natural therapies and evidence-based thinking. Whether it's seasonal imbalance, hormonal issues, Panchakarma detox plans, or just guiding someone on long-term wellness—I like making people feel safe, heard, and actually understood. I’m not into rushing plans or masking symptoms. I’d rather work together with someone to build something sustainable that really suits their body and where they’re at. In a way, I’m still learning every day. But my focus stays the same—use Ayurvedic wisdom practically, compassionately, and in a way that just... makes sense in real life.

Dr. Ravi Chandra Rushi
I am working right now as a Consultant Ayurvedic Ano-Rectal Surgeon at Bhrigu Maharishi Ayurvedic Hospital in Nalgonda—and yeah, that name’s quite something, but what really keeps me here is the kind of cases we get. My main focus is managing ano-rectal disorders like piles (Arsha), fistula-in-ano (Bhagandara), fissure-in-ano (Parikartika), pilonidal sinus, and rectal polyps. These are often more complex than they look at first, and they get misdiagnosed or overtreated in a lotta places. That’s where our classical tools come in—Ksharasutra therapy, Agnikarma, and a few other para-surgical techniques we follow from the Samhitas...they’ve been lifesavers honestly. My work here pushes me to keep refining surgical precision while also sticking to the Ayurvedic core. I do rely on modern diagnostics when needed, but I won’t replace the value of a well-done Nadi Pariksha or assessing dosha-vikruti in depth. Most of my patients come with pain, fear, and usually after a couple of rounds of either incomplete surgeries or just being fed painkillers n antibiotics. And I totally get that frustration. That’s why I combine surgery with a whole support plan—Ayurvedic meds, diet changes, lifestyle tweaks that actually match their prakriti. Not generic stuff off a handout. Over time, I’ve seen that when people follow the whole protocol, not just the procedure part, the recurrence drops a lot. I’m quite particular about follow-up and wound care too, ‘cause we’re dealing with delicate areas here and ignoring post-op can ruin outcomes. Oh and yeah—I care a lot about educating folks too. I talk to patients in OPD, sometimes give community talks, just to tell people they do have safer options than cutting everything out under GA! I still study Shalya Tantra like it’s a living document. I try to stay updated with whatever credible advancements are happening in Ayurvedic surgery, but I filter what’s fluff and what’s actually useful. At the end of the day, my aim is to offer respectful, outcome-based care that lets patients walk out without shame or fear. That’s really what keeps me grounded in this field.

I am working in Ayurveda field from some time now, started out as a general physician at Chauhan Ayurveda Hospital in Noida. That place taught me a lot—how to handle different types of patients in OPD, those daily cases like fever, digestion issues, body pain... but also chronic stuff which keeps coming back. After that I moved to Instant Aushadhalya—an online Ayurveda hospital setup. Whole different space. Consultations online ain’t easy at first—no pulse reading, no direct Nadi check—but you learn to ask the right things, look at patient’s tone, habit patterns, timing of symptoms... and yeah it actually works, sometimes even better than in person. Right now I’m working as an Ayurveda consultant at Digvijayam Clinic where I’m focusing more on individualised care. Most ppl come here with stress-related problems, digestion issues, joint pain, that kind of mix. I go by classic diagnosis principles like prakriti analysis, dosha imbalance and all, but also mix in what I learned from modern side—like understanding their lifestyle triggers, screen time, sleep cycles, food gaps n stress patterns. I don’t rush into panchakarma or heavy medicines unless it’s needed... prefer starting with simple herbs, diet change, basic daily routine correction. If things demand, then I go stepwise into Shodhan therapies. My goal is to not just “treat” but to help ppl know what’s happening in their body and why its reacting like that. That awareness kinda becomes half the cure already. Not everything is perfect. Sometimes ppl don’t follow what you say, sometimes results are slow, and yeah that gets to you. But this path feels honest. It’s slow, grounded, and meaningful.

Dr. Ayushya Kumar Singh
I am someone who got into Ayurveda not just for treating diseases but cuz I always felt drawn to understanding why things go out of balance in the first place. My work’s rooted in classical Ayurvedic texts—I’ve spent years studying them, not just memorizing shlokas but really figuring out what they mean in today’s context. At the same time, I also use modern diagnostic stuff where needed, just to get a fuller picture. Pulse diagnosis (Nadi Pariksha) is something I rely on a lot—it’s not easy to master but with practice, it kinda tells you what the body’s hiding, even before symptoms scream out loud. I focus mostly on chronic issues… like gut problems, fatigue, hormonal mess, skin disorders, and stress stuff that just doesn’t go away with tablets. I use herbal formulations (mostly customized), Panchakarma when needed—not in a one-size way but actually based on the person’s Prakriti and Vikriti. I also spend a good chunk of time explaining things to patients. Like why you should eat this in winter, or skip curd at night or not mix fruits with milk—little stuff people think doesn’t matter, but actually does in Ayurveda. Over time, I’ve realized people don’t just want relief, they want to understand how their body works again. That’s kinda where I feel most useful. I help patients reconnect with natural rhythms, daily routines, sleep cycles, digestion, seasons—all of it. And ya, it’s slow sometimes. But once things shift internally, you see it show up on the outside too. That’s what keeps me going honestly. Whether it’s stress or sluggish metabolism or just someone feeling “not right” without knowing why—I try to listen deep, go to the root n create a treatment path that’s realistic and sustainable. Not just ideal on paper. Healing, for me, is something we do together, not something I just hand over. I want people to feel heard n understood… and to believe their bodies can heal, with the right support. That’s what Ayurveda is to me—real, ancient, and still totally alive.
