My weight is 42 kg. my height 160 cm. I am tired of taking protein powders. I would like to gain weight nearly around 55 kg. Can you please provide nutritional advice to gain weight by 2 to 3 kgs per month.

Opt for whole grains such as brown rice and quinoa, which are better for grounding Vata and Kapha doshas. Ghee is very beneficial in Ayurveda for enhancing the digestive fire and adding healthy fats, so include a tablespoon of ghee with your meals daily. This aligns with the need to build more tissue.

Focus on increasing your intake of sweet, sour, and salty tastes, as these aid in grounding and promoting tissue growth. These can include fruits like mangos, bananas, and avocados for natural sweetness, curd for the sour taste, and using rock salt as a healthier option for meals. Ensure to eat cooked foods, as they are easier for the body to assimilate, promoting weight gain more effectively than raw foods.

Rich milk products like warm milk, yogurt, and paneer can also support weight gain very efficiently.
