How to get rid of uti and vaginal infection both? - #25343

Ayat

I'm a 25 year old female. The first time I got intimate I had itching and burning and sometimes pain while peeing and even without peeing... I used to get itching in the vagina as well as in the pee hole... Now if I drink more water and keep peeing throughout the day then I will be kind of subsided....but if miss out on drinking water even for a few hours.... Itching, burning and discomfort starts again... So I'll have to drink more and more water to become normal again. I'm so done with it..... I have white watery discharge without any foul smell... please help

Pitta aggravation causing burning, irritation

Ayurvedic Remedies: Internal Medicines:

Chandraprabha Vati – for urinary tract and irritation

Punarnava Mandoor – reduces inflammation

Daily wash with Triphala decoction or neem water

Wear cotton underwear, avoid intimate washes and spicy foods

Avoid sour, fried, and processed foods

When dealing with issues like UTI and vaginal infection, it’s crucial to examine both the root cause and symptom relief based on Ayurveda principles. From an Ayurvedic viewpoint, your symptoms hint towards an imbalance, possibly related to aggravated Pitta dosha and potentially compromised Apana Vayu. The good news is there’s a way we can aim to bring balance back with some lifestyle and dietary changes.

Start by focusing on a diet that balances Pitta. Avoid foods that are excessively spicy, sour, or salty. Instead, incorporate cooling foods like cucumber, watermelon, and coconut water. These help to reduce the heat in your body, potentially alleviating burning sensations. Drink warm water with a teaspoon of coriander seeds soaked overnight; this might help soothe and detoxify your urinary tract.

Embrace herbs known for their cooling and disinfectant qualities. Gokshura (Tribulus terrestris) is traditionally used in Ayurveda to support urinary tract health. Boil a teaspoon of gokshura in a cup of water, filter, and consume once it cools slightly. Similarly, a daily tablespoon of Amla juice could bolster your body’s defenses and nourish your tissues, supporting overall health.

Maintain proper vaginal hygiene with Ayurvedic practices. Avoid chemical-based products; instead, you might consider washing with warm water infused with neem leaves, known for its antimicrobial properties. But do avoid douching or using harsh soaps, as this could disrupt your natural flora.

Ensure you’re practicing mindful relaxation, as stress can also exacerbate Pitta imbalances. Engaging in gentle yoga, particularly postures focusing on lower abdomen relaxation, may help promote a healthy flow of Apana Vayu.

Don’t overlook the seriousness of these symptoms, especially if they persist. If symptoms don’t improve, it’s advisable to consult a healthcare professional for more intensive care. Sometimes, you’ll need both Ayurvedic practices alongside conventional approaches for holistic healing.
