Nasal congestion at night affecting your breathing can be troublesome. In Ayurveda, this often points towards an imbalance related to kapha dosha, potentially paired with snoring or post-nasal drip. To address your blocked nose each night, try Nasyam, which involves administering herbal oil or ghee to the nasal passages. Anu taila is a classical oil often recommended. Apply 1-2 drops in each nostril before sleep to help clear any excess mucus. Additionally, steam inhalation with eucalyptus oil can be effective; just ensure not to overdo it, as it may cause dryness.

Your concerns about protein causing headaches and bloating suggest a possible imbalance in your digestion, often linked to impaired agni (digestive fire). Consider reducing the quantity of protein you consume if it’s mainly heavy or rich, as they can be hard to digest, especially if your digestive fire is weak. Introduce lighter alternatives, like moong dal, which is easier on the system. Enhancing your digestive strength with trikatu (a blend of ginger, black pepper, and pippali) before meals can also be beneficial. Take it with warm water to ignite the agni before protein meals.

The mention of internal piles and bleeding indicates vitiated pitta or excess heat in the body. Consume cooling foods like coconut water, gourds, or tendli, while steering clear of spicy and excessively sour items, as they aggravate pitta. You can also consider applying a paste of yastimadhu (licorice) externally to soothe the inflammation.

Regular routine matters too—try going to bed and rising at consistent times, and stay hydrated throughout the day to assist digestion and prevent nose blockages. If symptoms persist, consulting with a practitioner familiar with your health history would offer more personalized guidance. Always consider seeking immediate medical attention if your condition worsens or induces severe discomfort.

Dealing with a blocked nose at night can be uncomfortable and disrupt sleep, often stemming from imbalances in the doshas. Let’s tackle the nasal blockage first. It’s possible that there’s an excess of Kapha dosha in the nasal passages, which can cause congestion. A simple and effective remedy is using a saline nasal rinse or neti pot, which helps keep nasal passages clear. Do this once daily, preferably in the morning to prevent nighttime blockages. Ensure you’re using distilled or sterilized water, and follow the instructions carefully to avoid any irritation or complications.

Aromatherapy might also be beneficial, as certain essential oils like eucalyptus or peppermint help open up the airways. Just put a few drops on a cloth or inhale gently from the bottle before bedtime.

Addressing your dietary issues, consuming too much protein might be aggravating your Pitta dosha, leading to headaches and bloating. It’s vital to balance your diet with more cooling and grounding foods. Try incorporating vegetables like cucumber and zucchini which dont disturb Pitta. Avoid spicy, fried, or excessively sour foods as they can worsen the condition. Aim for a diet that supports Agni, or digestive fire, with gentle spices like cumin or coriander to reduce bloating.

Lastly, for internal piles, it’s essential to rectify digestive imbalances. Triphala is a well-regarded remedy for easing bowel movements and supporting overall gut health. Taking a teaspoon of Triphala powder mixed with warm water before bed could be beneficial. However, if bleeding persists, seek medical attention as it might need closer examination.

These measures are meant to complement rather than replace professional medical advice, especially if symptoms persist or worsen. Your health and safety are paramount.
