No need to worry,

First of all avoid excessive spicy, sour, salty food, sesame seeds etc.

And start taking these medications, 1.Lodhrasava 20ml with equal amount of Lukewarm water just after having meal twice in a day. 2.Bolbaddha ras 1-0-1

Prolonged or excessive menstrual bleeding can be particularly concerning, especially in the context of PCOD (Polycystic Ovarian Disease). This condition is typically characterized by hormonal imbalances, which can disrupt regular menstrual cycles. From an Ayurvedic perspective, it is essential to address any underlying cause, which may be related to an imbalance in the vata and pitta doshas. However, given the prolonged nature of your bleeding, it is crucial to seek immediate medical advice from a gynecologist to rule out any serious underlying issues or complications.

In Ayurveda, certain lifestyle and dietary modifications can potentially help in managing the symptoms associated with PCOD and menstrual irregularities. Incorporating a routine that helps to regulate your doshas could be beneficial. Begin by adopting a balanced diet that favors a variety of fresh, organic foods; focus on including roasted and cooked vegetables, whole grains, legumes, and moderate amounts of fruit. Avoid processed foods, caffeine, and sugars, as these can aggravate the symptoms.

Herbal remedies like Ashoka (Saraca asoca) and Lodhra (Symplocos racemosa) are traditionally used in Ayurveda to support menstrual health. They may help in managing bleeding and other symptoms. Take care, though, to consult a qualified Ayurvedic practitioner before starting any herbal remedy to ensure it aligns with your specific health condition and constitution.

Stress management techniques, such as yoga and meditation, can also support overall hormonal balance and cycle regulation. Regular physical activity is encouraged—choose activities that can harmonize your body such as gentle yoga or walking. Ensure that you are getting adequate rest and sleep, as both can have a significant impact on hormonal balance.

Emphasize consistency in these practices but remember—while maintaining a healthy lifestyle can offer support in such conditions, given the severity you’re experiencing, direct medical intervention from a healthcare professional remains the utmost priority to prevent complications that may arise from such prolonged cycles.

Extended menstrual bleeding can be concerning and may signal an imbalance in your body’s natural systems. In the Siddha-Ayurvedic tradition, we view such symptoms in the context of dosha imbalances, particularly concerning the vata dosha, which governs movement in the body including menstrual flow.

Firstly, I strongly recommend you seek immediate medical care to rule out any serious underlying conditions. If there are prolonged or heavy periods (menorrhagia), medical assessment is critical to ensure there are no complications such as anemia.

In Ayurveda, addressing chronic menstrual issues involves balancing the hormonal and digestive systems. Begin by focusing on calming vata dosha. Incorporate warm, nourishing foods that are easy to digest, like kichari or thin soups. Avoid cold drinks and raw foods as they can exacerbate vata.

Herbal formulations such as Ashoka (Saraca indica) and Lodhra (Symplocos racemosa) have shown encouraging results in managing excessive menstrual bleeding. You might take these under the guidance of a trained practitioner. Additionally, regular yoga or gentle exercises can help balance your doshas. Asanas like Baddha Konasana and Setu Bandhasana can promote healthy circulation.

Look closely at your daily routine; erratic schedules can disrupt your body’s rhythms. The adoption of a regular sleep-wake cycle and meals at consistent times can stabilize vata. With the appropriate medical evaluations and these supportive Ayurvedic approaches, you’ll progress towards balance, but proceed with caution and prioritize expert evaluation.
