In Ayurveda, prolonged and heavy menstrual flow can indicate an imbalance in the doshas, particularly Pitta and Vata. First, it’s essential to stop the she care juice immediately, as it seems to have altered your cycle significantly. After discontinuation, observe if the cycle begins to normalize. If the heavy flow and elongated cycle continue, here’s how you can address these imbalances.

To calm Pitta, incorporate cooling foods into your diet such as cucumber, coriander, mint, and watermelon. Avoid spicy, fried, and caffeined-heavy foods and drinks. Vata can be balanced by including warm, oily, and grounding foods like cooked grains, stews, and sweet potatoes. Avoid raw and cold foods, opting instead for meals that are nourishing and moistening like soups.

Incorporate herbs that support menstrual health such as Shatavari and Ashoka. Shatavari has cooling qualities and supports reproductive health; consume as powder or tablet form as per the instructions on a product label. Ashoka, traditionally consumed as a bark decoction, is beneficial for regulating menstrual cycles.

Practice slow and gentle yoga poses that support the reproductive system, like butterfly pose (Baddha Konasana) and seated forward bend (Paschimottanasana). Try these exercises daily to enhance circulation and relieve pelvic congestion.

Abhyanga, a self-massage with warm sesame oil, can help balance the Vata dosha. Perform this at least three times a week, focusing on soothing, circular strokes on the abdomen and generous application on the feet for grounding.

If the symptoms persist or worsen, it’s crucial to seek professional medical advice to rule out any underlying health conditions. Sudden menstrual changes with heavy bleeding may need uimmediate medical examination to ensure there are no serious issues that need urgent attention. Balancing your cycle is achievable, but persistent symptoms should never be overlooked for comprehensive healthcare guidance.

Observing changes in your menstrual cycle like an increased length and heavy flow, especially after trying something like a she care juice, indeed calls for some attention. In Siddha-Ayurvedic understanding, your symptoms might be pointing to an imbalance in the doshas, particularly with pitta and vata. This imbalance can disrupt the normal functioning of artava (menstrual flow).

First, consider stopping the intake of the she care juice, as it may be a contributing factor. Often, these formulations are aimed to balance but without an understanding of your individual prakriti, they can sometimes disrupt rather than help. Next, look into factors that exacerbate pitta, as increased pitta often worsens menstrual flow. This includes avoiding spicy, oily, and spicy foods, along with reducing caffeine and alcohol if you consume any.

A cooling palliative is beneficial, so include foods and habits that are cooling. Elements like ginger, buttermilk, and neem have properties that help regulate menstruation issues. Boil jaggery and ginger root in water, once cooled, this can be consumed traditionally to balance hormones and alleviate menstrual concerns.

Ashoka (Saraca asoca) might be particularly useful since it’s revered in Ayurveda for addressing heavy bleeding and regulating cycle. You can take it in powdered form: mix one teaspoon in warm water twice daily. But, remember not to exceed the recommended dosage as it can effect your digestive fire or aggravate vata if misused.

However, considering the significant shift and heavy bleeding, your condition might be serious. Immediate medical consultation with a healthcare provider is necessary to rule out any other underlying issues. Integrating Ayurveda with mainstream medical practice would provide a comprehensive understanding of your health and guide you towards a complete balance.
