Green Milk Prescar Cream - #33208

Elizabeth

I am really confused about this whole thing with Green Milk Prescar Cream. A few weeks ago, I started using it when my skin got super dry and flaky after trying a new face wash. It promised moisture, and I thought, okay, let’s give it a shot! At first, it seemed to help a lot, like my skin was thanking me or something. But then, after about a week, I noticed that some red patches started showing up on my cheeks, and my skin felt really sensitive. I don’t know if it was the cream or just me being sensitive to something else, but now I'm kinda worried. I also read online that some people say Green Milk Prescar Cream can cause irritation and I honestly don't even know if I'm using it right?? like should I still be applying my moisturizer on top? I’m just feeling frustrated because I want my skin to be healthy and not looking like this. Plus, I was wondering if anyone else has used this? What were your experiences? Did you have any side effects or issues? Should I stop it right now, or try to push through? Just feeling kinda lost here... Thanks for any help!

When experiencing irritation and redness from a product like Green Milk Prescar Cream, it’s essential to first stop using it. Your skin’s reaction suggests a possible sensitivity or allergy to the cream, which might be exacerbated by the new face wash you’ve been using. You mentioned feeling unsure about how to integrate this product into your routine. Ayurveda emphasizes understanding the individual constitution or prakriti, and in this case, you might be dealing with a pitta imbalance causing the heat, redness, and sensitivity.

If your skin is indeed currently sensitive, it’s best to simplify your routine. Pause on this cream and any new face wash you’ve tried. Introduce products slowly to identify what’s best suited for you. Stick with a gentle, unperfumed moisturizer for now — preferably one with calming ingredients like aloe vera or oatmeal.

For your diet and lifestyle, stay away from spicy, sour, or fried foods which could aggravate pitta further. Incorporating cooling herbs such as coriander, fennel, and turmeric could help balance internal heat. To calm your skin, consider using natural remedies like applying raw honey as a mask or washing your face with rose water to reduce inflammation.

Consistency is key with Ayurveda. Ensuring your digestive health is ringing strong will support skin health; consider sipping on warm water with a pinch of ginger before meals to invigorate agni, your digestive fire.

If redness and irritation persist or become worse, it may be necessary to consult a dermatologist for professional advice. They can determine whether there’s a deeper-rooted issue or allergy provoked by specific ingredients. Always prioritize products with organic, gentle, and known ingredients for future use, ensuring they align well with your dosha balance.

It sounds like the Green Milk Prescar Cream might be causing irritation, especially if you noticed redness and sensitivity after using it. While each person’s skin can react differently, it’s possible that some ingredients in the cream are not suited to your particular skin type or condition. It’s not uncommon for products that promise intense moisture to sometimes trigger reactions if there are ingredients your skin is sensative to, such as fragrances, alcohols, or other potential irritants.

In a situation like this, it’s often wise to pause using the cream immediately. Allowing your skin some time to recover and return to its natural state can help you better assess whether the irritation was indeed caused by the product. If the condition worsens or persists, consulting a dermatologist might be the best course of action, as they can provide a more tailored recommendation.

Regarding the application of Green Milk Prescar Cream, it might be unnecessary to layer another moisturizer over it unless specifically recommended by the product instructions or a healthcare proffesional. Sometimes overloading the skin with products can lead to further irritation. Be sure to use a gentle, fragrance-free cleanser and perhaps a soothing moisturizer containing ingredients like aloe vera or chamomile, known in both Ayurveda and modern skincare for their calming properties.

If you’re seeking a more Ayurvedic approach, for dry and sensitive skin, supporting your skin internally can be beneficial. Ensuring your diet is rich in healthy fats like ghee or coconut oil, taking warm baths with calming herbs like neem or turmeric, and maintaining a regular routine that soothes internal vata imbalance might be helpful. External applications of herbal products with ingredients like licorice or sandalwood can promote skin health without causing irritation.

Ultimately, it’s crucial to listen to your skin and modify your regimen based on its current needs. If irritation continues or worsens, a healthcare professional’s expertise is invaluable.
