I am dealing with this weird issue that’s been stressing me out lately. For the past few months, I’ve noticed this dark pigmentation around my mouth, and it just doesn’t seem to go away! At first, I thought it was just dry skin or maybe something related to diet, but I've tried different creams and some home remedies with no luck. I really can’t pinpoint when it started, but I remember feeling super embarrassed when I went to a family gathering last month. People kept asking me if I've been in the sun too long, which is totally not the case! I don't even go out that much. I even changed my skincare routine to include SPF and everything. I’ve read some articles online about what causes pigmentation around mouth and how it can be due to several factors, like hormonal changes or maybe even allergies, but I'm confused. Is it possible this could be related to that stress I’ve been under at work? And what about diet? Should I be eating differently? Any advice on what causes pigmentation around mouth would be really helpful! Like, is there a remedy or something specific I should be looking into to make this go away?
