Thank you for sharing your concern based upon what you are mentioned. A WBC count of 11,400 is slightly above normal, which usually indicates your body is actively fighting and infection when you say low leucocytes, I assume some types like lymphocytes or neutrophils might be on the lower side, but your overall WBC is elevated. Crp is 5is mildly raised and indicate some ongoing inflammation You can start on Sanjeevini vati Lakshmi vilasa rasa Giloy tablet Each tablet twice daily after food with warm water or boiled and cold turmeric milk Sithophaladi churna half teaspoon with honey twice daily Tulsi juice drink 5ML with water once daily Chywanprash 1 teaspoon daily Do steam inhalation Avoid cold oily. With a white blood cell count of 11,400, accompanied by a persistent cold and cough, it’s important to consider balancing the excess Kapha dosha, which could be tied to respiratory congestion. Your elevated white blood cell count may suggest an ongoing infection, even if viral, as your CRP (C-reactive protein) also indicates some inflammatory process. It’s advisable to promptly consult with a modern medical healthcare provider to rule out bacterial involvement or other conditions needing antibiotic treatment.

In terms of Ayurvedic support, introduce practices to balance Kapha. Including spices such as ginger, black pepper, and turmeric into your diet can help boost immunity and alleviate mucus. Ginger-tulsi tea taken 2-3 times a day may help soothe your respiratory system. Use a teaspoon of honey with a pinch of black pepper and a little warm water in the morning to help alleviate cough.

Focus on a diet that’s warm, light, and easy to digest. Avoid dairy, which can increase mucus, as well as cold, heavy, and oily foods. Keep hydrated with warm water through the day — slightly warm water can help dissolve Kapha.

Daily practices of Nasya, using a few drops of Anu Taila in each nostril, can help clear congestion. Perform steam inhalation with eucalyptus oil occasionally to help decongest.

Ensure that you maintain a warm environment and avoid exposure to cold, damp weather which exacerbate Kapha imbalances. Engage in regular Pranayama and mild physical activity to invigorate Vata and Pitta, acting against Kapha lethargy.

Monitor symptoms closely and maintain regular check-ups to ensure there are no underlying conditions that haven’t been addressed, particularly if conditions persist or worsen—seek medical consultation swiftly.

With a persistent cold and cough for a month, and a recorded high white blood cell count, the body indicates a response to some form of infection or imbalance. From a Siddha-Ayurvedic perspective, this condition may relate to an imbalance in the Kapha dosha, which is responsible for maintaining the body’s mucous systems. Here’s some guidance that might help alleviate your symptoms.

Start with your diet: Avoid cold, heavy foods and dairy products, as they can aggravate Kapha. Opt for warm, easily digestible meals such as soups and stews. Integrate spices like ginger, black pepper, and turmeric to help enhance your agni (digestive fire) and support immunity.

For practical remedies, consider a decoction (kashayam) of ginger, tulsi (holy basil), and black pepper. Boil these with water until it reduces to half, strain, and drink warm twice daily. This can help clear mucus and support respiratory health. Also, engage in gentle steam inhalation with eucalyptus oil which can greatly aid in clearing congestion.

To aid recovery and balance your doshas, you may also consider using Sitopaladi churna, a well-known formulation in Ayurveda. Take it with honey to help restore balance and enhance respiratory function, but consult an Ayurvedic practitioner beforehand to ensure it’s right for your prakriti.

Rest is crucial; adequate sleep supports body’s healing processes. Should your symptoms persist or worsen, it’s prudent to consult your healthcare provider to rule out any serious underlying conditions. Addressing the root cause is essential to promote lasting health and balance.
