To address hormonal imbalance and irregular periods, along with the digestive issues you’re experiencing, we can take a holistic approach from an Ayurvedic perspective. It seems there’s a likely vata and kapha dosha imbalance. Let’s focus on dietary, lifestyle and herbal remedies to help you find balance.

Start with your diet. Favor warm, cooked foods that are easy to digest, like moong dal broth, and avoid cold and raw foods which can aggravate vata and kapha. Consider including more spices like ginger, cumin, fennel, and turmeric in your meals to enhance digestion and boost metabolism.

Engage in regular exercise to stimulate your agni or digestive fire. Even brisk walking for 30 minutes can aid in maintaining a healthy metabolism. Yoga, particularly postures like Surya Namaskar (sun salutation) and Pranayama (breathing exercises) like Kapalabhati can be beneficial.

Afternoon naps might need avoiding; instead, establish a routine with consistent sleep patterns. Try to wake up, go to bed and eat meals at the same time daily. This helps regulate bodily functions and doshic balance.

Incorporate ayurvedic herbs such as Ashwagandha and Shatavari which are known to balance female hormones. Triphala can be beneficial for digestive health and may aid in weight management.

Consider practicing daily Abhyanga (self-massage with warm sesame oil) to calm the nervous system and balance vata dosha. Steam therapy is also an option which can burns kapha and promote circulation and digestion.

If symptoms persist, it’s advisable to consult with a health provider to rule out any underlying conditions that may require medical intervention. This is especially important for symptoms like excessive hair growth, which could be a sign of an underlying hormone condition like PCOS that may need more than just lifestyle changes.

By implementing these personalized ayurvedic guidelines, you should gradually notice improvements in your symptoms and overall wellbeing.

Hormonal imbalance and irregular periods can be tied to a variety of factors involving your doshas, particularly a disturbed Vata or Pitta, and possibly a weakened Agni, the digestive fire. Addressing these through the Siddha-Ayurvedic approach involves a combination of dietary, lifestyle, and herbal interventions.

Firstly, you might want to look at your diet. A diet that aggravates Vata can often exacerbate these symptoms. Opt for warm, cooked foods that are easy on digestion - soups, stews, and porridges can be very beneficial. Include spices such as cumin, fennel, and ginger which can help in balancing the Agni and reducing digestive issues. Avoid cold, raw, and overly processed food as they can weaken your digestive fire, leading to slow metabolism and weight gain.

Secondly, consider your lifestyle. Daily routines that reduce stress, like yoga or meditation, can significantly help in stabilizing mood swings and normalizing hormonal functions. Make sure to get regular, moderate exercise, which can help with metabolism and balance excess weight. However, steer clear of overly intense workouts as they might aggravate Vata further.

Herbal supplements like Ashwagandha can help in regulating stress and balancing hormones. Shatavari is also often recommended for women, as it can support reproductive health and hormonal balance. Yet, its crucial to consult a qualified practitioner for precise formulations suited to your individual Prakriti and current condition before taking herbs.

If your symptoms persist or worsen, particularly the excessive hair growth and severe mood swings, it’s wisdom to consult a healthcare professional to rule out conditions like PCOS or thyroid imbalance which may require more intensive care, possibly beyond Ayurveda’s scope.

Focus on maintaining regularity in sleep and meal times as this can help regulate your body’s natural rhythms. Stay hydrated but avoid excessive liquid intake during meals to aid digestion. By addressing the root causes through these approaches, balance can often be restored naturally and safely.
