The symptoms you’re describing, the frequent greasy discharge, flaky skin, blackened areas, and itchiness, may indicate an imbalance in your body, possibly related to kapha and pitta doshas. The greasy nature of the discharge suggests an excess of kapha, which is often heavy and oily, while the itchiness and discoloration could be related to pitta, which may manifest as inflammation or irritation.

To address these concerns, focus on dietary adjustments that reduce kapha and pitta. Include more drying, light, and astringent foods. Eat plenty of fruits like apples and pears; vegetables like spinach and bitter greens could help. Avoid dairy, excessive oils, spicy foods, and sugars as they can worsen the condition.

For the itchy scalp and hairfall, using neem oil or a neem-based shampoo might help soothe the scalp. Neem is known for its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. You can apply coconut oil mixed with a few drops of pure neem oil to your scalp before washing your hair. Leave it on for about 30 minutes before rinsing.

For the skin changes, gently cleanse the affected areas with a mixture of turmeric and sandalwood powder made into a paste with water and apply it once daily. Turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties that could help with skin irritation.

Including Trikatu (a combination of black pepper, long pepper, and ginger) can aid digestion and could help balance kapha. Take a small pinch with honey once a day – but skip this if you have ulcers or inflammatory gut condition. Keep hydrated by drinking warm water and herbal teas like ginger or cinnamon for their warming properties.

As for lifestyle adjustments, practice regular meditation or yoga to reduce stress, which can exacerbate dosha imbalances. Adequate sleep is important, so reduce screen time before bed to improve sleep quality.

If symptoms worsen or persist, consider consulting an Ayurvedic practitioner or healthcare provider for a thorough assessment—Ayurveda often recommends treatments such as Panchakarma, which requires professional oversight.
