I am trying to understand what is oligomenorrhea because I’ve been having some weird issues with my menstrual cycle. Like, for the past few months, my periods are becoming super irregular. I never thought much about it at first, but now it’s been like two or maybe three months where I hardly had any bleeding. Sometimes it comes, but it's super light – like barely there, you know? I did some googling and read about what is oligomenorrhea but still kinda confused. I mean, is it normal to have such long gaps? I have been feeling a bit tired recently and there’s some pain in my lower abdomen, but I didn’t think they were related. What if it’s something serious? One of my friends said she had similar issues and didn’t do anything about it, but then it turned out to be hormonal imbalances. I’m worried that if I ignore this, it could get worse!
